Nordic Lifting Elbow Compression Sleeves for Weightlifting and Fitness

Absolutely essential for an off-and-on bad, tender, tender elbow (like tennis elbow, but I don't play tennis). Sore in the outer boney knob with radiation down the arm. I knit, I vacuum, I hold the dog's leash in that hand (right), do all the major things, and especially pulling at my seat belt from the door then pressing it down into the latch (ow!!). Measured my elbow as explained, ordered that size (medium), put it on and WOW the compression above and below that elbow really works. The sleeve stays in place and is easy to use. After getting used to having it on for about 20-30 minutes, it's like it's part of my arm now and I have NO pain in that elbow unless I actually poke at that outer boney knob (so don't poke!). This is so great. I'll take it off at night, as I have a softer, thicker elbow wrap-around with a splint in it to prevent bending while sleeping (which I tend to do on my side, wrapping arm around my pillow). So thus far, I know this was the right move to make and this amount of compression seems to be totally appropriate. The package came fast, no shipping problems. Highly recommended if you need elbow sleeves. The order comes as a pair, and I may even use them on both arms in the daytime to prevent problems with the other arm. Suffice it to say, I am 79 yo and refuse to be limited in my movements!!

Great compression, reduces pain for tennis elbow.

I bought this pair of Nordic sleeves and a Kunto sleeve at the same time, for comparison shopping, and very quickly came to the conclusion that I MUCH prefer these Nordic sleeves. Their main advantage is the level of compression they provide. It takes some effort to slide it up your arm and into place, which is to be expected with true compression. And once it is there, it STAYS IN PLACE. I have tried the sleeve in a couple of different circumstances - drumming and weightlifting - and I find the sleeve to be comfortable and supportive the whole time I'm wearing it. More importantly, it provides relief! I can do both activities with less aggravation of my elbow tendon. And, after a while, I pretty much forget I'm wearing it. It is comfortable, supportive, provides warmth but breathes well, and stays where you want it. The only advantage that the Kunto sleeve had out of the box was that it was felt a little softer next to the skin. But this Nordic sleeve is slightly thicker, slightly less soft. It is more heavily constructed, and you can tell it was made to be used in real athletic activity without needing to compromise your movement. All in all, a winner! And my wife says it makes me look like I'm from the movie 'Tron' - what's not to love?

It's for compression, so it will be tight as intended, so choose / measure for the right size carefully. I did need it to be on the snug side, so there you go. It's probably as comfortable as can be. Great value for the price. I only need it for one tennis elbow, so I can rotate the usage. I wouldn't recommend wearing it at night, but I have several times at first. I've gotten material imprints on my skin and crease marks and some redness. It's not so tight, but I don't want to restrict blood flow much when I am asleep. It's not like an extension of your body or another layer of skin so it will have limitations, but that's what compression is about. I could only reach so far in bending my elbow, so there is an effect on range of motion and comfort, but that's the give and take when you're addressing pain relief from inflammation. With tendonitis, I couldn't rest my dominant arm all the time, so the inflammation was slow to address (even during a pandemic) unless I wrapped my arm. Initially, I used over the counter wraps that we had, but I needed a dedicated and quicker solution and these were the answer I found and I am happy with the product as it does help with my tendonitis. The inflammation felt like 2 daggers initially after I first injured my arm and I didn't address it until many weeks later. Doh! You don't have to live with this issue, so address it and don't be like me. The medication helped greatly at first, but after the doctors prescription ran out, this was the winner to keep me going and to keep the inflammation under wraps... literally and figuratively.

I’ve been using this product every day for a little over a week. I ordered the size based on the measurements provided in the listing. It fits well/snug at my elbow (the only measurement they use or provide) and provides the support my elbow needs to not hurt while I’m working out. However, it is much too tight at the top end where it hits the middle, biggest part, of my bicep. The thin band at the top end of the product is so tight it feels like it’s restricting some blood flow to the rest of my arm and I’m continually have to push it back up as it rolls down onto itself as I flex elbow and my arm normally in my workout. I also use a calf compression sleeve made by another company, due to a previous injury, and the bands at the ends of it are much wider and do not roll as I use my leg. I think this manufacturer should consider a wider finishing band at the ends to help keep it from rolling when the elbow bends. UPDATE: The seller contacted me and sent me a larger size to try. As I suspected, the larger size was more comfortable at the top on my bicep but was not enough compression at the elbow to be the desired support assistance to my elbow while working out. I appreciate the seller trying to right the situation but the product just does not work well for me.

After a week of use, the compression sleeve has kept its shape and level of firmness. Cleaning it is also easy. I can sometimes forget I’m wearing it from how well it helps my tendinitis.

Seems to help with the tennis elbow lifting weights. Looks good and feels good.
