At first these worked great but I would say within 6 months the adjustability of coarseness stopped working all together.also one at that point worked better then the other over all. I actually swapped the pepper and the salt because I use the pepper more and that was the one that had started grinding slower by then. They seem to eat through batteries so rechargeable batteries are the way to go with these. the one limped along till the one year point before it was a 50/50 chance if it worked at all when I went to use it.by 1 1/2 years that one stopped working all together and the second one became limp and has been 50/50 till it finally died completely by 2 years.Overall considering there's only 2 of us that used these, I don't think these were worth the frustration at all. I spent 15 minutes every time I changed the batteries to clean them including making sure the metal battery contact points were clean. I had picked up a couple of $2.99 refillable salt & pepper grinders from Trader Joes that we have been using when ever these didn't work, they actually work awesome and seem surprisingly durable and whenever they stop working i'll just through them out and pick up a couple more for $2.99 and no more extensive cleaning time necessary !

This is a beautiful set of salt and pepper Mills. The problem is that the pepper mill quit working after only a year-and-a-half of light-duty service. I would not buy this product again nor could I recommend it to anyone.

Way too many batteries needed. It's either 6 or 8. It worked ok though.

this has been a great item, and it lasted about 4 yrs. before it broke. I bought one for my son and his broke before mine did. When it worked it was great!! very handy.

Neither salt nor pepper mill works, after just a few days. I would not buy from this company again.

Does NOT grind whole pepper corns

Easy to use, prevents hand pain, freshly ground pepper and salt taste so much better. Sometimes the Peppercorns and salt rocks get stuck.

I liked the salt and pepper shakers so well that I have purchased several sets for wedding gifts for others.
