Fibropool FC 200 Large Capacity Inline Chlorinator

This is a very good product. It works nicely. We had a birthday party for my wife and a lot of our friends came. Some brought their kids because we have a pool. One little girl decided to poop in the pool and didn't tell anybody. The chlorinator did a good job of chlorinating the water so nobody got disentary and died. All I had to do to get a comfortable feeling after vacuuming the pool was kick that valve up to 3/4 for a couple days and add some more chlorine tablets. While we know that the water is clean now, somehow I'm still having trouble convincing myself to get back in the pool. One person off the invite list for next party...

Have had this installed for little over a month now, so far so good. Dropped about 8 tablets inside on day one and not even half way dissolved when I checked today. Would have used all of this in the old floater due to surface evaporation. It's also nice to not have the chlorine floater in the way while the kids swim, and no danger of tablets falling out.

I have had a pool for years and never had a chlorinated. It is the best thing I have purchased in a long time. Makes life easier. It works great. I put pucks of chlorine in it maybe 3 to 4 times a season. You can leave for vacation and know it will be fine. Simple to install and use.

The description said.."FibroPool FC 200 Large Capacity Inline Chlorinator". IT IS NOT "INLINE". Like others have stated in their reviews, you may be shipped a "BYPASS" model with odd-ball fittings. Unfortunately, I did NOT check the box to see what version of Chlorinator I got (out of town on a business trip). By the time I attempted to install the chlorinator, it was past the return date. I ordered "INLINE", the box said "BYPASS". The two are NOT compatible, one is a FULL throat, straight through system with a small adjustable return via the reservoir, while a bypass is designed to operate PARALLEL to the system using a venturi to feed the chlorine. Worthless!

This is not a Haywood product. Haywood union kit does not fit it. Otherwise a good device.

easy hook up... large capacity...prompt service..i have had many of these over the past 20 years , this one is rite up there among the best...

To check the level of your chlorine you have to remove the cap and it is very hard to remove. I can be sure that this is going to crack my PVC lines eventually

This unit did not mate up to my existing plumbing from my previous hayward unit. I e-mailed FibroPool explaining the situation and the fact that my pool was not filtering and they responded right a way and sent me two unions to mate up to the unit i purchased. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! We will purchase from these guys again when needed........Thank you, J Wright
