Hydro Mousse - Liquid Lawn Refill Pack, 2lb Bag (Covers 400sq. ft.)

Only tried it in a few areas. It works as advertised. Extremely fine blades of grass that grew in a week. I didn't buy the sprayer, so it was messy applying it, but it still grew as fats as advertised. Other sprayers didn't work.

First, let me say, I followed the instructions and directions listed by the manufacturer of this product.The spray attachment made things less complicated, but the seal was not solid. I ended up with a green hand the second time i filled the co tainer, after not realizing the container wasn't fixed to the nozzle completely (ether cross threaded, or the gasket slipped.) The quantity of product seemed to putter out after only about 100 square feet. I didn't notice any adjustment for controlling the flow, as a result I put down a lot in the first minute of use, and then the color had changed quickly from a deep green to a lightly tinted green water stream.After application, I didn't notice much of a difference. I noted about 2 spots on the lawn that had about 1 square foot each of growth.I was overall unimpressed and would not recommend anyone give this company any more money in exchange for an ineffective product.

We did a complete house remodel inside and out … that construction completely ruined all the lawn around the house … we did a lot of work on the front yard, we did the rototiller, clean dirt, fertilizer and very expensive seed… by time we got to this little section in the garden area we were to exhausted to do anymore fancy lawn… but we needed some sort of lawn … this ground was like cement but oh well we were done with lawn work so we tried this liquid lawn … Oh My Goodness … our exhausting front lawn doesn’t even compare to this little section… thing is winter, spring, summer and fall the lawn stays Green and beautiful… funny thing this liquid lawn is so easy to use and so worth the money. This spring we are going to over spray it on the front lawn… oh did I mention we live in pretty extreme weather conditions… lots of rain, snow and heat and the lawn still looks great. And it all came in so very fast … I can’t say enough great things about this product. If people think this stuff is difficult to use they didn’t read the instructions and if they say it doesn’t work they didn’t read the directions… it’s to simple it’s to easy not complicated at all.

Utilized the product as directed and watered the area 3 times a day for 3+weeks and did not see expected much new grass in the sprayed areas. Only about 30% effective. Had to buy additional grass seed and redo the bald areas. Not worth the cost for no more than it did.

I've used this product in the past with acceptable results but in no way we're they instant results.The key is definitely in the preparation of the soil. I treated my soil a week prior to application by applying Scott's Starter Fertilizer (I swear by that product). I then prepared the soil as instructed, applied the hydro-seed and then kept it watered. It sprouted within 4 weeks, probably less. However, it was a little on the thin side. So this time, rather than applying double the amount for thicker results, I decided to lightly pre-seed the area by hand, then apply the hydro-seed. Im very confident I will get the results I desire.I honestly believe the key is in the preparation and post-watering. And, allow the grass to become very well established before cutting or walking on it. The longer you wait to cut it, the stronger the root system will be and the thicker the results.A man who is patient shall get what he waits for.

Grass is already sprouting up in less than two weeks!One problem I had was just after I put it down we had severe storms so it washed most of the seed away in some areas. I’ve gone back and applied more to those areas and seeing it start to come up. Overall looking great so far! Just be sure it’s not going to rain much before you apply it! Oh and I set the sprinklers to run 4 minutes at 8:30am, 2pm, and 7:30pm. It’s just starting the 4th week and the early grass is already 3 inches!

My package did not include the mousse. Not sue what it was for, but I did not get any. Would be easier to just spread by hand than trying to water it in. The seed did not spread very evenly using water. I am not expecting much from this seed now that I have used it. I would not buy it again. Looks easy, but that was not my experience.

Not as advertised. Extremely messy, doesn't give a good coat to the dirt, the green dye goes into the ground ans doesn't coat anything. Stay away.
