I read the reviews on the similar cases offered by competitors, and thought I'd give this one a chance, especially given the very high praise and lengthy descriptions on Amazon's review site. Once I had this in my hand, I now suspect that some of the prior reviewers may have glossed over some shortcomings.First, and most glaringly obvious, is that the bottom edge of the case partly covers the Home button. This completely prevents you form using Touch ID. Period. There is no semicircular cutout to accommodate the Home button as there should be. I had to do this myself with an exact knife (to cut the leather) and a dremel tool (to cut and trim the internal metal band) to create a fitted opening allowing my finger to rest on the Home button and TouchID to be used. See attached photo.Second, the leather quality is thin and cheap-ish. I have owned better quality leather cases for prior model iPads before, but unfortunately at this time that manufacturer does not make iPad Pro cases...Third, there should be an awakening function upon opening the case flap like many competitors have, but there is not.Fourth, the pencil holder is outside the case and is easily jarred or knocked, and so could damage or lose the Apple Pencil; this could easily have been designed to be in the mid-fold section of the case where it would have been protected.Other than that, so far, the case seems OK. Could have been much better with a few tweaks to it.

This case is amazing. It holds all of my essential cards and money. It's soft on the inside so it won't scratch my iPad and it protects it. It's real leather with just makes the whole thing look very classy rather then just some heavy bulky cover. It doesn't add much weight to the iPad itself which was surprising. The only thing that I wish it did was the ability to lock my screen when you close the cover. You have to make sure that you lock it or your screen sleeps by itself after a few minutes.

It's very nice, but I was wanting a little more padding and a softer leather. The fact is that is very nice and it does have all the bells and whistles, so I cant really cant complain. It does have good protection for my IPad Pro.

We love this case but after a few months the snap on the closure broke. We still use it, but are going to have to find a way to fix the closure.

Very nice and function with great figment for my iPad Pro 12.9. 4 not 5 because my item was scratched in a new state. Not happy with that.

Works great, just do not drop your i-Pad Pro. Mine smashed the corner, and bent the Aluminum case and destroyed the screen.Other than that, if you do not need to carry it everywhere and can keep it safe, it is a great and stylish looking Pad-Folio!

Great cover, very well made. Note this is a business oriented case, the corners are not protected, this is not a bumper case! It's meant for light business use and as such should be handled accordingly . Great for light business documents, credit cards, and so forth. Over all a very good case.

Just what I was looking for. I like the strap located on the back once you open the case. It's great for holding the iPad while using it. I also appreciate it being leather. Already have had several people commenting on how nice it looks.
