Was super skeptical but this is awesome! I washed it with soap and water, dried it, then tried it with sesame seeds I'd bought recently. It's plastic and doesn't feel as super cheap as other plastic products around this price range. The size is perfect for holding just the right amount of seeds before the scent fades. The lid feels a bit cumbersome, but it makes sense; it seals in the scent and freshness. The lid connector doesn't feel as light so it won't break too fast. The ground seeds were super aromatic and it ground perfectly. I've been doing it manually and wish that I got this sooner.

If you cook Japanese or Korean food, this is definitely a kitchen essential. It’s very easy to use, and it holds a good amount of sesame seeds, so I don’t have to refill it often. It grinds sesame seeds quickly and makes cooking much more convenient. I’m very happy with this purchase!

Does not actually grind the sesame seeds - they come out whole. Don’t waste your money.

Its works fine. Doesnt crush extremely fine. Its some coarse some whole seeds pass out. Fits my purpose

I saw these on the tables of many Japanese eateries during a recent visit there and they were such a great way to get a lot of sesame flavor in your food, so I ordered two of these as soon as I returned to the U.S.

This is working great for grinding our black sesame seeds. It doesn't grind the regular, lighter sesame seeds, though. They just slip through and end up on our food whole
