This is a really good value and put my mind to ease knowing I could vibrate and use the audible noise versus shocking. We originally bought the bark collar to control the dogs barking. I would recommend this and wish I would have bought this first instead of the bark collar. This has the bark feature and remote. Our dog is a rescue from over seas and has come a long way with training and becoming a normal dog. He has been very scared of the world so this simple vibrate on the collar is enough to correct him. I struggled as I watched videos of how to train the dog by vibrating the collar while calling the dog. Unfortunately this was way to much for our dog. You can find tons of videos on dog collar training on youtube. However training like a wireless leash was not working for my dog. Because our dog was used to the collar vibrating as a warning to barking and then yelling at him if he continued to bark, this collar scared him more then anything when trying to train as a wireless leash. So instead we use it to keep the dog in line or correct when he is not listening. We call our dog 3 times and on the third time he gets a vibrate. He listens very well and responses great to it. We use it more of a correction then a wireless leash. Just to test how far it reached I got in the car and drove down the hill from our house while my kid pressed the button every 10 seconds. This impressed me as to how far it reached. I would say I went about the length of 2 football fields, or maybe 1/4 mile to 1/2 mile. It works best if you are in line of sight. As for us having a 100 acre farm field in front of us, it is easy to watch the dog take off and return when called, but when he doesn't respond to our call he gets a buzz. It even worked great in the house with correction at times too. I would call him and when he turned away to do his own thing, he got a vibrate and he is back to listening. The remote allows you to turn the bark feature on and off. I would recommend you setup the collar with your smart phone first. Setup by testing it yourself and then putting it on the dog for training. I was very skeptical about this looking cheaply made, but for the price this is pretty good quality. The remote I thought was cheesy at first but I am glad I bought this one instead of the previous version remote because this has the ability to hide the remote in your pocket with the switches turned off to prevent accidental pushes. Those switches are great. Always leave the rubbers on the collar to prevent shocks even though we always leave the switch off on the remote. And I have it programmed to never shock for barking. Just vibrate warning 1, vibrate warning 2, and then vibrate and yell NO on warning 3. Works great for that kitty cat he likes to bark at through the front window of the house every morning or UPS / Amazon delivery person. I will say it took our a dog about 2 weeks of pouting after we used it the first time on him. But ever since he has been a very good dog and only gets corrected and put back in line once in a while. Having a saluki mix dog that runs 40mph it is great to see him come running back with the push of a button.

Not a good product. Does not work on the shock setting. And the app is terrible, doesn't work at all. I tried to connect via Bluetooth on two different phones but never worked.

Folks! Give these people your money!!! These things changed my life. I have two poodles that the interwebs said were not big barkers. Well, I got duds because they be loud lol. They yell at me all the time. This product has changed my life and helps in multiple ways.I live in an urban area and my dogs, well puppies, pull on their leashes when we walk and I’m terrified that they’ll break loose and get hit by a car. I’ve been trying to leash train the Cesar Millan way, but, um, they have not been picking up what I’m putting down. These collars have helped tremendously. As soon as they pull, I hit the little vibrate button and it distracts them and they stop :) Now, it’s quite rare that I have to do it.With the barking, these have been fantastic. My dogs are very attached to me, and if I put them in their fancy condo so I can take a shower, they have a mental breakdown. Steven, my boy, can be a little honey badger about the collar zap, and, as you know honey badger don’t care. Yikes! That’s boys for you.One of my favorite features is the ability to record your own commands. I have one that says “no yelling” and that actually works pretty well because they know if the keep yelling their collars will bzzzzzzzzzz. However, I use the voice command to sing them love songs for when I use the hand held remote option. They love it and I think it makes them love their collars. Whenever I say “ok guys, it’s time to put on your necklaces” they get so excited. It’s so funny.The charge lasts a very long time. Just such a great product. The size is fully adjustable. They are light and not as big as others I have tried.There is only one improvement that I would suggest; I would love if you could delete and or edit recordings on the app. So, if you make recordings that you don’t like, or just collect too many, you’re stuck with them. That’s my one and only beef.Thank you Dr. Trainer for a fabulous product that actually does exactly as advertised. It’s everything I’ve been looking for. You get automatic bark control and manual. I’m so glad I found this.
