Rust Texture Model Paint Kit

This stuff is terrific. I used it this week to build a “beater” car with scuffed paint and heavy rust along the fenders and quarter panels. It is super realistic and easy to use. Add some brown pastel streaks on the roof and you have a great outcome. It truly has a textured feel just like rust as well

Vallejo is my go to for most hobby paints. And the Vallejo rust texture is no exception. I use it as a wash and it gives me the results. I desire can be thin with water. dries fast takes clear coating well.

Great for giving your items that weathered rust look

I use this to add realism to nickel silver rails. I use 2 coats on the sides and they look like what a steel rail should look after years of exposure to the elements. It also works great on locomotives and rolling stock to add that not so new look.

Use this for model railroading. It’s a great product. I was worried the texture would be over the top. It’s subtle and effective. I’ve bought it a second time.

I'll use it to paint a model I'm building but it's color isn't orange.
