Beautifully presented book. One which its nice to have on your shelf and consult from time to time. Love it enough to give it 5 stars and suggest you buy it...! (Even thought it's competition to one of mine)! :D

I guess it was just not my type of book. I thought it would clearly define the way to go forward. Instead there were quotes thrown in from a whole lot of other people, continually, till I thought the author hardly had to write anything herself.

I bought this book at the embryonic stages of starting my business and it has been a brilliant tool. Not only does it cover elements such as marketing and 'number crunching' but it also makes you think how you, as an individual, can manage the business with an every day family life and how much time you can give it. It is easy to read, absorb and refer back to. It's not full of a load of technical waffle you don't need. I would highly recommend this book to any one starting out a small business. I consider it my new "business bible" and am sure I will be referring back to it for some time to come.

Ich habe mich als Grafik-Designerin Selbständig gemacht und habe viel darüber gelesen. Dieses Buch war aber das einzige das die Menschliche Aspekte und Schwierigkeiten betrachtet. Leider sind einzige Teile sehr an der Amerikanische Markt gewidmet, trotzdem wurde ich das Buch gerne weiterempfehlen!

Wonderful book for people who want to get started with small businesses specially creative type of work. Highly recommended
