Excellent product
I used these to mount a shelf behind a washer and dryer. I fastened a 2x4 on the wall and mounted these spring-loaded hinges to it and to a shelf board. The top of the shelf board is flush to the top of the 2x4 and the height of all is such that it rests on top of the washer-dryer. If I need to do something behind the washer-dryer, the shelf board flips up over the 2x4 and I have easy access. The hinges hold the shelf in the upright position securely so it will not fall on me while behind the washer-dryer.

Strong hinges
Placed these on large 8' tall panel doors with applied wood slat strips and they hold it securely. Works smoothly and operates very well. You do have to figure out the install dimensions though because no guidelines are provided.

Decent, Sturdy, Tricky To Install
Much the same as many reviewers have noted.1) These come without instructions. Go to the product listing and look at the photos carefully to figure it out. You may want to temporarily screw them to two pieces of scrap wood to see just how they work and for spacing.2) It may seem at first that they don't work and won't bend. They will, but when they aren't attached to anything you don't have much leverage, and the way they bend is a little inobvious. You *can* open and close them with just your fingers (but don't get pinched), but it may take some fooling around to figure it out.3) They come with non-ideal screws. You really want pan-head screws about the same size.4) These are not 'normal' hinges! These are hidden hinges and/or for situations where one moving part needs to be extended outward to clear the non-moving part. If you're not sure why you need this specific type of hinge, odds are good that this isn't the type of hinge you need.I've installed them, though, and they work fine, and they seem sturdy. Price is good. Packaging, etc, not so good. I'd buy them again if I needed more, but it helps that I've got some practice with these now.

Works as desired.
Work great on two raised panel, one inch thick oak doors used to hide two circuit breaker panels and two Generac whole home backuup switch over panels. These doors are quite heavy, which was my concern, as well as clearance between doors, when opened as the open towards the middle and feared they might hit one another. I can only open one at a time but they appear to have no problem with the weight even when open. They mounted easily to doors as well as "thick" center face frame between doors. I would buy again.

Made it work, BUT will NOT buy again!
Well I appreciated the ease of installation since this is a flush mount hinge, the instructions were seriously lacking, suggesting a 4 mm tag on the door application, which was absolutely wrong. For our inset door, we had to align the hinge to the edge of the door and still had problems with rubbing despite already having a 2 mm reveal between the door and the cabinet side.

Not Soft Close
The media could not be loaded. These are not soft close hinges, they are slam open slam closed hinges, see video. If you still decide to use them they don't come with any templates or directions, what they do come with are countersink screws which are not the correct screw for this application, other reviews have also said they are poor quality and snap off. Throw them away or save them for some lightly loaded application. Order Stainless Steel replacement screws, #6 or #8 X .45" - .475" Long panhead type screws. I prefer Bolt Depot, they have consistent superior quality hardware. I clamped the sample boards shown in the picture and video together first, which is what I would do with a door too. Carefully fold the hinges to the closed position, they are hard to fold and will absolutely snap shut on your fingers so do be careful, gloves will help some. Using 2 pairs of pliers is probably the safest way. You can use double sticky tape to hold them temporarily in position if you have a hard time otherwise. Pilot drill at the middle of the slotted holes first, don't go too deep, and install the screws just to the point of being slightly snug. Make any adjustments to the door position then tighten them down. Open and close the door to make sure you are happy with the position then tighten them down fully. Open/close again to make sure nothing shifted then pilot drill the non-slotted holes and install the screws at those locations.I ordered 6, returned 4, because they are not soft close hinges. The 2 in the picture I attached used in the test part seem to be adequately functional for how they actually work but after installing in the test article they are not in new condition so I'm out for the cost of those 2.If they were in fact soft close as stated I would have been quite satisfied with them as it is I wasted a lot time messing around with them.
