Coffee Gator Pour Over Coffee Maker
Nice glass, easy to clean, really clear quality glass, clean it with regular dish soap and it sparkles like a diamond. Great filter works perfect high quality. I course grind my coffee and it comes out quick and perfect. it's pretty sturdy but remember it is glass, I love the set up and it's a good value for todays market. Cleaning is a breeze if you do it right away. Use a plastic spoon and lightly scrape the grounds out of the funnel, rinse both sides inside and outside. Hold the funnel up to the light and if it's clean you can see through the fine mesh. If you do this every time you use it....you will get a quality cup of coffee every time. One more thing...it really looks nice sitting on the counter.

Far better quality than expected. Very happy.
I'm really more impressed that I thought I'd be. The glass part is nice - functional, if not a bit awkward to pour the last few ounces out due to the shape. The filter fits it perfectly. And 800ml is 27oz, so it's all just the right size to make three 9oz cups of coffee - or two (+3oz) 12oz mugs. It's definitely a kitchen item and not a travel item since I wouldn't likely carry around the relatively-fragile glass. But the filter is really the star of the show here - and I might actually pack it for travel along with THIS >> https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09FHPRCDW. I'm no coffee specialist but the quality of this filter seems amazing, and it makes a perfect cup of pour over coffee, keeping the water drippinng through at just the right speed. Not too fast (be patient!) and not too slow (maybe 3-4 minutes to run 800ml through the coffee?). In the end, I'm left with a smooth, tasty cup of my favorite coffee and I can use pretty much any grind from fine to coarse. Buh-bye paper filters. See ya Mr. Coffee and expensive Keurig pods. Hello good, strong, hot coffee!

Love this coffee maker for fresh coffee takes about four or five minutes
works great cleans up easy heavy duty glass nothing better than grinding up fresh coffee beans, and making a fresh cup of coffee only drawback as it takes about four or five minutes of pouring water and waiting and pouring more water and waiting for it to siphon through the filter, but it makes an absolutely exceptional cup of gogo juice

Cute, sturdy weekend kind of coffee maker
This arrived on time and well-packaged. My keurig had broken after months of annoying messing around with "descaling" (despite using filtered, bottled water), and I was looking for a less expensive, simpler way to make coffee other than my French press. After reading many reviews I went with this little guy. This is actually kind of a simple but cute glass "laboratory" looking coffee maker. The glass seems thin but is actually pretty sturdy, as I had knocked it somewhat hard against a mug in the sink earlier. I read up on how to make the coffee...how many tblsps per oz of water...slowly pour the hot water from outer edge circling inward...etc. It is easier than using my French press, and pretty easy to clean up. For some reason, my coffee did not taste as good as when I use the french press. Despite what I've read in the reviews. Maybe it's me so I'll keep playing. Cleanup is much easier than a french press, so that is a plus. After having manual coffee maker parts drying all the time after handwashing, and messing with measuring and then cleanup of wet grounds...I bought a small keurig for my 5am workday bleary-eyed coffee needs. It was just too much work for this single mom for 5am along with letting the dog out who had his little legs crossed by the door... I would recommend this little coffee maker, but I will probably be using it more for weekend enjoyment.

Lovely little coffee maker!
I am a college student, but I usually only drink one cup of coffee a day. So, while looking for a new coffee maker, I wasn't looking for anything too big, especially as I share my small dorm kitchen with my two roommates. I was also interested in experimenting with manual coffee makers; one of my roommates last year had had a Keurig she let me use, but I wasn't too impressed with the results, so I knew I did not want to invest in a pod brewer for myself. The CoffeeGator pour-over hit the nail on the head. It delivers on all fronts: compact size, sleek design, fairly priced, easy to use, relatively speedy (compared to the average French press), fun to experiment with, and most importantly, a delicious brew. I have never enjoyed drinking coffee black in the past, but now I do at least a few times a week and really enjoy it. I usually use a #2 cone-shaped coffee filter just to make cleanup faster, although going filter-less definitely works, too, and cleanup doesn't take that much effort. I was going to leave a review when I first bought it back in July, but I kept forgetting to. Yesterday, however, I accidentally dropped the carafe and the top half shattered. I had noticed other Amazon reviews mentioning that CoffeeGator had replaced their brewers for various reasons, so I thought I may as well try to contact them before buying a replacement. I emailed them last night explaining the situation (with a screenshot of my Amazon order) and a little over 12 hours later, they have already graciously responded and shipped out a replacement! I was willing to buy one of their replacement carafes (which isn't as expensive as buying the whole kit again) but was relieved and impressed by their customer service, especially being on a college student's limited budget. Kudos, CoffeeGator!

Fantastic Little Coffee Maker
Very impressed with this little coffee maker. Combined with the JavaPresse Manual Coffee Grinder | Conical Burr Mill for Precision Brewing | Brushed Stainless Steel , it has been a game changer in the quality of coffee I'm now able to have each morning. This is the first time I've ever used a pour over coffee maker and it's not likely I'll go back to any other way of making coffee. I prefer my coffee hotter than, well, hell. The reason is because I take my coffee with light cream which obviously is kept cold. Following is how I make a cup of coffee so that it turns out as hot as possible. โ Fill the carafe with the appropriate amount of clean, very cold water โ Transfer this to electric kettle or appropriate kettle on stove โ Turn on the hot water tap with the carafe underneath and begin letting the water run until it is steaming hot โ Place your normal amount of light cream in the coffee cup โ Place 1/4 cup of beans in the grinder and start manually grinding โ Once the flowing water is piping hot, turn it off and carefully set your coffee cup bottom into the top of the hot water in the carafe. This will cause the chill to come off the cream inside โ Continue grinding until you're about 1/2 or 3/4 done โ Turn on the electric kettle โ Continue grinding โ When done grinding, pull the coffee cup off the top of the carafe (notice the chill is now gone), dump the still hot water out of the carafe, place the cone filter in it, pour the fresh ground coffee into the filter โ By now, your water will have just finished boiling + a very brief moment of pause (this acts to bring the temp closer to about 200ยฐ) โ Immediately begin pouring water over the ground coffee and wait for it to finish โ Pour coffee into the cup containing your cream I'll not say the coffee is lip burning hot, but it's not far off at all. While this all sounds incredibly time consuming, in fact, it takes only minutes to do all of the steps above. The longest wait times are when you are grinding and when the water is going through the coffee in the filter. I'll try to time myself next time at normal speed and will edit this review accordingly. I believe it takes me no longer than about 5 minutes to make a cup. What's delivered is a steaming hot cup of coffee that's aromatically gorgeous and incredibly tasty. It's so good, I often think about wanting more during the day and as a result, will likely buy another pair for my office. I am hooked and not sure I can ever willingly go back to another method of making coffee. Edit: Ran my stopwatch to see how long this took without rushing. At 5.46 minutes I had completed pouring the water over the grinds. At 7.04 minutes I was drinking a steaming cup of coffee. 01/17/2020 updating to note this little system is still going strong. Zero rust, still insanely easy to clean and the glass it still perfect. Really great little product.

Works great!
I used a โgold coneโ filter for years and loved it, but this is better! The mesh is so fine, yet stronger than the gold cone. The oils pass through and itโs good to the last drop.

Makes great coffee
I was poised to not like this coffee maker because of some of the negative reviews and the price. However, after three electric coffee makers in 5 years, I am ready to go back to basics. I have used this pour over coffee maker 4 times now. Every time it makes perfect coffee and I am somewhat of a coffee snob I guess. I do have a French Press coffee maker but I struggle with how much water and coffee to use for it. With this little pour over I can see how much water I am using. I measured one "cup" of water using my favorite coffee cup. That's how much water I use in the pour over with 1 tablespoon of coffee grounds. When the water boils, I can pout it into my cup then over the grounds. I can also pour the boiling water directly over the grounds and wait for it to get to the correct measurement that is marked on the glass of the pour over. It is very convenient. After that small amount of figuring and measuring, I now make coffee quite rapidly. If you're not getting good coffee with this pour over coffee maker, let me gently remind you that it begins with a great coffee, the pour over apparatus has somewhat, but not a lot, to do with how good your coffee is. I like this coffee maker because it makes coffee quite fast, it is easy to clean, It takes up little space on my coffee bar and, It is very quiet compared to an electric coffee maker. That is important to me first thing in the a.m. I do recommend it.

Cuando hago cafรฉ , aprovecho para hacer 400 o 500 ml y asรญ tengo para varios dรญas.

Great coffee, super easy to use!
I've been using this a couple of times a day for a week now. No question, it is an outstanding product. Very easy to use, looks good (my partner was delighted with the look when I pulled it from the box, which is rarely her reaction to my coffee equipment purchases), no paper filters needed, and most importantly, makes a cup of coffee that takes really well-extracted. Definitely tastes better than what I get most of the time with my Hario V60. The coffee/water recommendation that comes with it are pretty spot on; I've been using about 23 grams rather than 20 for slightly stronger coffee. Also, if you don't have a gooseneck kettle, order one. I think this would be tricky to use without one. Overall, enthusiastically recommended.

Great coffee, as advertised
Great. Was forced to use a French press for a while, this makes better, stronger coffee with no sediment and is easier to clean. For the size, I'm also impressed with how much you can fit in, it has measurements for 3 cups. Easily does that, plenty of room for someone to do 2 big cups too.
