Aims to teach the Arabic alphabet in its basic form through simple written exercises supported by diagrams over which the child can trace, thus encouraging him or her to develop confidence and independence in writing the isolate letters. This book includes exercises to reinforce letter recognition, alphabetical sequencing and writing practice. Review: Highly recommended - My 9 year old grand daughter had expressed an interest in learning Arabic so I bought her this for Christmas, thinking it might be a bit young but on the other hand she has no one to teach her pronunciation and she is old enough to go online and download pronunciation guides herself. She absolutely loved it and spent Christmas Day studying and doing the exercises, despite many other presents. Can't give you a better recommendation! Review: Brilliant for English speakers - Brilliant for English speakers. A must for adults as well as kids learning writing Arabic script. The script covers some everyday objects which one would encounter in daily life however I have never yet come across a "BITREEK", penguin in the Mideast or North Africa. I could have done with this book in Libya in the old days as everything was in Arabic under Gadaffi.

Great, fun introduction to Arabic
I got this for myself!!! Don't laugh, Arabic is a hard language to learn, so it really works great to think like a child learning a language for the first time. I've studied the alphabet before but it wasn't really sinking in until I did this method- was quite magical, as well as fun!!
