Smooth, quiet and a great workout!
I researched several machines and finally decided on this one due to the review ratings and the videos posted of it being used. This one seemed to be the best value for the money. I considered this machine to be pretty easy to assemble and it turns out to be a solid piece of equipment. I previously owned an elliptical excersize machine that was perfectly acceptable as far as providing a good workout, but it was noisy and was the total opposite of smooth. THIS machine is VERY quiet and is super smooth. I truly enjoy my workout sessions when using it and my aging joints appreciate the low impact aspect of a workout session on it. I've only been using it for a little over a week now so I can't vouch for long term durability, but so far I have had zero issues with any screws loosening or any rattles, squeeks or other obnoxious noises. I honestly like this machine better than the ones that I have used at my fitness center.

Excellent machine!!!
I purchased this because Shape magazine rated it as the best budget elliptical machine. I was still a little skeptical though, since it was only $400. It was super easy to put together with only a few major pieces that needed to be attached. It was too heavy for me to lift but my adult son lifted it easily. It's very sturdy and well put together. I tried it for the first time last night and am so happy with it! I thought for sure it would be jerky or hard to use but it runs so smoothly and easily! It's also silent so I was able to watch t.v. while using it. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants an elliptical machine but doesn't want to spend thousands.

It will suffice for the price
3.5 stars, rounded up. I really donโt appreciate the companyโs shifty tactics when it came to the fake BF sale and them ignored my attempts to contact them. As for the machine, it is okay. Installation is simple, though the machine is a tad wobbly despite the screws being wrenched in tightly. I have a hard time believing that anyone would use the resistance on the lower settings and the high setting doesnโt offer much resistance. I think itโs good for the price point, especially if youโre extremely out of shape, but this might not be for you if youโre not a beginner and you want a really good workout. Also, for whatever reason, I have to keep resetting the resistance every time I use it. I have to set it to low resistance, take a few steps and then set it to high resistance. For me personally thereโs basically only one resistance setting because the overall resistance is so low. BUT it is effectively only $400 (Iโve never seen it without the $100 coupon) and Iโm not expecting it to be able to compete with a $2,000 machine. It definitely is โwhisper quietโ and can easily fit in a small apartment. If this is your price point then I donโt think youโll be particularly disappointed unless your expectations are unrealistic for an effectively $400 elliptical machine. However, if you can afford something better then I donโt recommend being cheap anyway and getting this one.

Niceday Elliptical for the win!
Niceday is my new favorite elliptical for home gym. Anything they make for home gym workouts is now going into my gym. In my 35+ years of putting elliptical machines together from $299 to $5000 this by far was the easiest one ever! Mostly intact, thereโs so little hardware and the directions are brilliant. I put this together in 30 minutes by myself including breaking down the cardboard box etcโฆMy first workout was incredibly smooth, quiet, and just plain perfect. With an awesome stride length, pedals that are proportional, quality and stability, and so many choices for an easy to hard workout, Iโm seriously impressed. Bravo Niceday for building such an amazing elliptical at such a great price point. BB

I like it so far
Easy enough to set up. Came in big box and very heavy. Thankfully they placed it directly in front of the door so I didnโt have to somehow roll drag it up a few steps. Grateful for that. If you have two strong people to lift it, it would be no problem. I just pushed it into the living room and opened it on its side and with a bit of effort was able to pull the contents out. After unwrapping and setting things out in order, it was easy to put together, just time consuming. Took about two hours doing it myself but I took my time. I didnโt like that a few of the screws require you to hold the other end tightly still with strong pliers, which are not included, in order to be able to hold one end still and screw in the other tight enough. If you donโt do this, it will be super loose and wobbly in the handles. Also the cord that plugs into the computer screen you need to be careful it is not dropped into the frame or you will have to take it apart to fish it back out. Not the best design there. I tried it out for 30 minutes once everything was tightened well and it is a good machine as far as cheap at home ellipticals go. I think you might need to tighten things over time as you use it though. I like it so far. It feels solid enough and doesnโt wobble. It came with a timy container of oil too you could use a toothbrush to apply to the joints if it makes squeaking sounds so that was considerate of them. Despite no power cord, the computer does take two AA batteries and it comes with two to start. Otherwise your movement is what turns it on. Only wish there was a cup holder.

Great For Home Use
Purchased this no frills elliptical just under 9 months ago. Great piece of equipment just perfect for home use. Small, light, and space saving. I use it around 5xs a week and it has remained smooth and noiseless. The only issue I had was the computer started eating up batteries. It would keep the time and output but the display read out would fade so it was unreadable. I contacted the company. Response was quick and they were quick to send out a new computer. Hopefully my problem is solved. Great customer service.

Good machine and support...but a challenging process
I bought the Model CT11PRO-20 (20 inch stride). The assembly instructions were ok (along with the video on Amazon), but when I got 90% done, I realized that the factory had drilled holes into the frame on the wrong side of the support tube for the right handle. This prevented me from completing assembly. After discussion with the vendor and Amazon, I ultimately received a replacement machine (I was told I could keep the original for parts), and a credit reimbursement of about 40% of the original cost. While both vendor and Amazon customer support clearly stepped up, the whole process was really a pain; specifically, lugging the 150 lb piece of equipment up and down a flight of stairs twice, having to assemble the machine twice, and then figuring out what to do with the original. I wound up redrilling the holes on the original so I could complete assembly and then gave it away to a needy local. As others have mentioned, the shipping box invariably looks like it went through a war zone, but in both cases for me, the parts were intact and none were damaged. I didn't know anything about stride length before ordering, but did some research and I can tell you that you absolutely need the 20 inch if you are 6 ft tall. After 2 weeks, I haven't had any problems with the machine; it works fine (no shakes) and is noise-free. If I only had to rate the machine (without all of the hassles noted above), I'd likely give it 4 or 5 stars at this point. One important note if you have problems after delivery is to contact the vendor only through the Amazon portal. I originally contacted the vendor direct, and then had to repeat the process on the portal once Amazon told me they couldn't help with return/reimbursement unless they were part of the correspondence record via the portal.

Disappointed!
The mechanical part of it works well. The electronics doesnโt. The various modes -(calorie count, distance, time) - none of it works.

Great workout, quiet and compact
My wife and I are loving this machine. The footprint is amazingly compact, it is very quiet, and most importantly it gives a great workout. We find that itโs much easier to get your heartrate up on this elliptical than on the recumbent bike we used to have. I had read online that some taller folks found the stride length to be too short but I find it to be quite comfortable. I am 5โ9โ.
