Good maneuverability.
Fished party boat with limited space during hot calico bass bite. Short rod with backbone served very well with 20lb. fluorocarbon leader.

Super value for money, heavy 6 footer
Honestly shocked at how nice this 6' heavy rod is. Thought it would be heavy and whippy like the Ugly Sticks of old I have from years ago. Rod is light with good backbone. Guides are straight and no scratches, good clean build. Actually meant to order Medium/Fast but happy for the mistake, as this will work well for tall pier fishing as well as inshore from beach and rocks. These GX2 rods, with their great long warrantee and solid builds, should be everyone's first rod.
