Binding: Paperback PPI, A Kaplan Company Review: So far its a good book but will review it fully after I pass the FE exam - So far its a good review book. I will review it fully after I pass the FE exam Review: Out of school for 15 years, passed the exam - Update 2025. Passed the PE exam recently and now a licensed PE. This book was incredibly helpful to kickstart that journey. In particular, the authors explanation of a passing score and to my surprise, a relatively low percentage to pass. I think he mentioned 50% is normalized to 70%. With that in mind, took the pressure off immensely. Was the only book I used for FE prep and some of the material carried over to the PE test as well. Great book and helped me pass the exam. I didn’t fully agree with the study suggested but might work for most. I might have only studied from this book for 10-12 hours but that was plenty to get me ready (and that’s with me being out of school for a long long time!) I would say these questions were slightly more difficult than the actual exam but the real benefit was recognizing simple mistakes and how to navigate the exam format. If you can get about half the questions right on the exam, and then simply guess on the others you really have a great shot at passing.

while not perfect, goes into detail on almost everything that was ...
For my FE exam I searched for a lot of different sources to help me study. This guide, while not perfect, goes into detail on almost everything that was on the test. I did not use the guide as suggested though as I was on a time crunch and had to force myself to do multiple chapters everyday. I took my FE exam early in December and passed on the first attempt. Again, while you might need to supplement additional sources into your studying, this book is a great start. Well worth the $50 or so that it cost me.
