Feather SS Japanese Straight Razor, Lime

Everytime I pick this shavette up, I feel like a real man and start speaking like a samurai. Just kidding, but it does feel very comfortable and you can attack that hard stubble from different angles. The weight on the shavette is enough to glide on your face and the pro blades are good enough for new beginners. I run through 2-3 shaves per blade with 2 glides on my face per shave session. I used to run my normal shaving razors in the opposite direction, but with this shavette and blades I dont have to and get an amazing close shave. If you are a first time user, you will get a few nicks but nothing some after shave cannot remediate.

Simple, nicely weighted, easy to hold, confidence inspiring straight blade shaving .. Recommend after every shave , slide apart the blade holder, wash clean and dry after use.

This item is easy to use, even for a novice.

UPDATE 12-2019.. its been a while. And i still agree with the fact this is hard to get used to if you arent used to straight handled razors. Its easy for me to use and by far my favorite to shave with. Not for beginners.. but.. its a great shaver once u figure out the angles and how to keep them ( its because of the different muscle memory is all).. i reccomend this on every level. Yes I ranked the scores low for this razor... Yes I gave it 5 stars... Why? I have been straight razor shaving for almost a year now and have become to love the hobby of shaving with de and se. This razor is not for beginners.. It's very difficult to use and not comfortable. For me.. I love it and everything about it. When I picked a se up for the first time it was hard... But not difficult to get an angle( may have been a near 90 degree angle but I could fine one lol).. With this it's very hard to get an angle and keep it. But the shave is amazing if you know what you are doing.. I have the folding type feather also and it's much easier to shave with.. I just wanted something cooler... But this razor is amazing but in no way for a beginner.. It's very hard to get the angle with.. And awkward at best.. Would I recommend this razor? Yep.. After a minimum of 4-6 mos shaving... It's nice.. But not easily controlled... Is all this because am acclimated to the folding life style?? Idk.. You be the judge..

It's my first time using a straight razor and it's awesome! I did a lot of reading and searching and I think I made a very good choice. I've used it about 6 times now and have only had 2 minor nicks, I am using feather pro blades. I would recommend this razor to anyone including beginners like me.
