SABRENT USB C Hub, USB C to HDMI 4K@60Hz, Type C Hub Multiport Adapter, 100W Power Delivery, Compatible with MacBook, Laptop (HB-TC5P)

I like Sabrent's products, I only some of the SSDs and a USB 3.0 hub made by them and have been happy with both. This USB-C hub was very well priced (£12 when I bought it) and does the job nicely. I personally do not see the point in buying "premium" aluminium adapters of this nature, they all have the same electronics inside. It's a very light, fairly cheap feeling plastic construction but does the job (as always, you get what you pay for). It's nice and slim and not bulky at all, very good for travel. It functions properly and the power delivery passthrough functions as expected. The cable length is a few inches longer than most other hubs (I like this) combined with the HDMI port on the end of the "stick" means it's great for attaching external displays without the HDMI cable putting loads of stress on the USB-C connector. It works well with my M1 Macbook Air over USB-C. *IMPORTANT NOTE* this will only send 60Hz video over HDMI, regardless of resolution. If you have a high refresh rate monitor (for example I have a 2560x1440 144Hz monitor) you will need to set your computer's video output to 60Hz or you will see a black / bad image. You may think the adapter is not working, but it is - you just need to set the computer to output 60Hz and the image will appear.

All other parts of the hub work perfectly fine and it didn’t cause any harm to the electronics I was using. However, when trying to use the PD usb port to charge my phone will streaming a show while connected to HDMI, it was able to charge and stream. HOWEVER, my phone suffered by developing a dead pixel which caused the phone to have a continuous green line across the LCD. My advice is to NOT use the PD port, but the other ports seem fine. Still the performance of the product is not adequate as it can damage a device. So preferably buy a branded hub with a protected PD port.

I bought this to access an Android mobile phone with a broken screen/digitiser, by plugging in a usb mouse and keyboard. And for that it works well. Outputs via HDMI also. I dropped one star as the PD USB-C port for power pass through appeared broken at first. The connection seemed too loose and a selection of usb leads wouldn't seat properly and connect. As a last resort I tried a different lead and something gave way in the PD port and power pass through was achieved. All of the previously tried leads then worked ok. I would have returned this hub as faulty if not for this final success. It works well now.

Great adapter to connect my laptop to my monitor as it doesn’t have a standard hdmi slot.

Used unconventionally for USB controllers for our game console so we can play 4 player, and does the perfect job, no connectivity problems, no lag in input, all slots work perfectly, and our memory pen transfers files fast in the spare slot, feels like a life hack purchase

Absolutely useless, broke after 1 week of use... Now all get is the blue light to indicate that the blue light is on, however whenever and whatever I try to connect to it doesn't work at all...I've tried everything from USB A wired mouse, keyboards, headsets etc. but nothing works via the adapter. Ive tried all 3 x USB A ports and neither work. Also the adapter itself feels very cheap, plasticy and not very durable at all. Really disappointing and frustrating...Avoid!

En octubre del 2024 pedí este HUB y cuando llegó lo guardé en un cajón hasta este mes (febrero 2025) que necesité usarlo. Por desgracia no funcionaba y ya habían pasado meses desde que lo compré. Quiero poner en valor la antención tan rapida y tan buena que han tenido desde la tienda, ya que desde amazon se me derivó directamente a ellos y primero me atendió el servicio técnico, al explicarle el problema me derivaron con atención al cliente y revisando la factura confirmaron que estaba en garantía. Directamente me enviaron uno nuevo a casa, sin ningún problema ni complicación, todo lo contrario, muy amables y facilitandome el seguimiento del envío. Lo acabo de recibir y funciona perfectamente, me he quedado más que satisfecha.

do not waste your money on this item. made of cheap plastic. my 15$ dockteck USB hub (HDMI,LAN,3 USB) is way better and truly value for money.

Sleek design and does the job.

Very useful dock, at least 45 watt pass through charging and plenty of USB ports just what the steamdeck wants
