I use this when reloading ammunition, where measurements are to 1/100". This tool has provided such accuracy. One caution ... I ruined a similar instrument through my own fault while I was out of country. The calipers sat on a shelf for just over a year with the battery in place, and were as a consequence badly corroded. If any reloaders are considering this item however, I would recommend a smaller and lighter set. This caliper is a little cumbersome when loading smaller cartridges such as 9mm and 5.56mm.

I have received and used this caliper. It has satisfactory accomplished all it claimed to do. Time will tell if performance maintains this level. I am happy at this point. I use it it aviation maintenance. I would not hesitate to recommend it anyone.
