A great replacement in a Steelseries Rival 310
Started to get the annoying double-clicking right mouse button and was told by many that Kailh replacement switches were the way to go. These were a perfect drop-in replacement for both the right and left click buttons on the Steelseries Rival 310 mouse. When installing these, be very sure that the switches are fully seated against the PCB before you solder them. I had a 1mm gap between the switch and the board on my first attempt and the mouse wouldn't click if I screwed the case tight. Reflowed the solder joints so the switch sat flush with the PCB and everything went back together perfectly with no more double clicking.

Replaced micro switched to Kailh GM 8.0 and loving it on my G502 and G502 HERO
I been having issue with games the require to hold down the left click and then having double clicking issue after playing the game. I own both a G502 and G502 HERO. The old G502 started having issue and bought the G502 HERO. The G502 HERO started is with the same game after two months?! I replaced the old G502 with OMRON D2F-01F-T that were labeled from Japan but started having the double clicking issue again after two months of use. I replaced both with Kailh GM 8.0 and will give an update in the comments if they work past two months or not.Update: Been more the two months since my review and both mice are working flawless now. Each mouse lasted more the 2 months of use. Definitely worth getting. I ended up repairing a friends G502 as well!

Excellent replacement switch
My Razer Hyperflux Mamba started doing the incessant double-clicks and I found some references online to replacing the culprit (worn out micro-switches). Imagine reading emails on browser-based solutions and trying to select one email and having the mouse clicks go crazy, so deleting emails results in multiple deletes and so forth. And online purchases where they warn you not to click on pay button more than once? Major nuisance. Tried using some Deoxit on the switches but that was just a temporary fix, so I decided to replace the switches. Past practice of replacing the quasi-disposable mouse - no thanks, planned obsolescence kiss my behind.Desoldering the old ones with a solder wick were a PITA, but installing the new ones were a snap. Best of all, it works now and no more crazy double clicking madness.

I'd add this to a brand new mouse they're that good
I have a Logitech G502 Hero that I bought used on ebay (they're cheaper brand new now :p) that had a left mouse button switch going out. These Kaihua switches are proven to be a much better quality switch. Uninstalling any switch with 3 points is always a pain in the rear, but once the old switch was out, this was a breeze soldering back in.BEST thing I could have done for this mouse. Works better than brand new (two of my kids just got the same mouse brand new recently). The tact feels very similar in weight, but sounds and feels like gold.I already got extra switches to replace the rest of the switches. :)

Seems good - Lasted a year
Used these to replace the left and right click switches on my 1st gen Naga mouse from Razer. So far so good, they fit perfectly and soldered into place well. They seem to have a smooth click without any gritty feeling. All in all I’m happy and will hopefully keep my favorite mouse functional for a long time more.<update> switch lasted for almost exactly 1 year before it began to have intermittent double left clicking issues again after moderate usage. I still have the rest of the switches from the pack so I’ll just crack it open and replace the switch again… annoying, but not hard with a good soldering iron. All in all I’d still buy them.

Very snappy
Very happy with the switches, they have a very pronounced snap. Little louder than the omrons but they were 6 years old. Desoldering the old switches was tough for me, it took awhile, just take it slow, be patient and try not to use too much heat. You don't want to damage other components of the mouse or pull up traces. Glad to breathe new life into my favorite mouse (razer deathadder chroma).

It's bouncy like a spring. Too bouncy!
The feeling of this switch is difficult to describe. On a typical mouse switch, and even the GM 4.0, the switch snaps up and down as you would expect; Once you hit the actuation point, they snap and fall instantaneously, you can't click them without bottoming out if you tried. The GM 8.0 however is incredibly smooth. There is an audible click midway down, but you can gradually move it up and down through its entire range of motion without it just snapping from the top to bottom and back to the top. GM 8.0 honestly feels similar to a linear mechanical keyboard switch, like Cherry MX Red. It's bouncy like a spring! That's not what I'm looking for in a mouse unfortunately.I just could not click as fast as I wanted to. The GM 8.0 expects you to know exactly how far to push and how far to release, and this kept messing me up because I would sometimes not click down far enough, and other times not release far enough. And even though the travel distance is physically the same as other switches, since it is fully gradual it just feels like it is traveling further up and down, and so finding the actuation point quite difficult. I had to resort to always bottoming out and always fully releasing pressure to get consistent clicks, and this led to slower click rate. A snappy switch does this all for you since there is no room for inaccuracy, and for this reason I still prefer the GM 4.0.
