The book is torn at the binding and one false move from falling apart. The rental price should be cheaper for a book in this condition, if not thrown out.

Tattered textbook
I rented a textbook from Amazon and this is the state in which I recieved it. This is not worth half the price of a new book! I would like to return it but do not want to fall behind in class.
