Zavor EZLock Pressure Cooker (7.4 Quart)

It's exactly what i paid for—a non-electric pressure cooker—and it works incredibly!

This wonderful pressure cooker is safer than the Prestos I've used for decades because there is no separate weight on top that can jiggle off while you're taking it to the sink and make a wild mess. I also like that the pressure can be quickly released right there on the stove. This way I can add more ingredients quickly without cooling the whole pot under cold water and the pot can continue cooking right away. I like that the lid has an additional safety feature in that the lid cannot open if there is any pressure left. Other things I like: The lid is sufficiently domed that I can fit 4 huge artichokes (one sliced in half) at a time. The pot has no handle sticking out, so it's easy to store. It heats up much faster than the Insta-Pot we tried I was tempted by lower cost pressure cookers, but I'm so glad I tried this one. It will last a lifetime so the price doesn't so much matter. We love it!

The Zavor 7 QuartPressure Cooker is straightforward. Put the ingredients in the pot, secure the cover -- which is very easy to do -- and wait until the red button pops and then cook for the amount of time you need. I have cooked with other stove stop pressure cookers and am really pleased with Zavor. Over time, the gasket needs to be replaced with all pressure cookers. I contacted Zavor's Customer Service, through email, and received a courteous and helpful answer as to how to buy a replacement gasket from Zavor.
