Works great in the Northwest. 7 years 3 months until blow out.
Strong enough for the Northwest. Purchased 6 of these in Sept 2017. The ones near the entrance of my car tent finally blew out and lost the rocks I had put in them. The exposure to the rain and occasional sun aged the, more than the others. The ones inside the tent are faded to gray but may last another few years I expect. I re-purchased without hesitation Jan 2025

Gets the job done
Great product, easy to use and put together. I wish it was a little bigger to hold more sand.

So Good I Bought a Second Set After Five Years of Use on the First Set
Originally purchased these canopy weights over five years ago — I use these extensively and have left them out in the weather quite a bit. The first set is still holding up but looking a bit ragged and sun-bleached after all this time and I wanted a good looking "new" set to lend to friends. I came back to purchase again and happy to see that this product is still being made and sold. This newest set is virtually the same as the ones I purchased back at the beginning of 2018 so I'm looking forward to them lasting just as long!I really like how these can be quickly strapped (via hook and loop "Velcro") AROUND the legs of our outdoor canopies - makes attachment and removal quick and easy for setup, teardown, and moving the canopy through the day as needed. These can also be laid out flat (without being strapped) onto surfaces such as umbrella bases, the base of our Starlink stand, etc.Tip: I filled these with a sand/rock mixture from a home improvement store, but rather than filling them directly, I first placed an empty wastebasket bag inside these canopy weight pockets, filled the bag with the sand/rock, tied the bag closed then zipped them up inside the canopy weight pockets. This prevented any leakage of sand from the canopy weight and has held up well through the years.Very versatile and durable — a great product!

Long lasting great quality
I've had this set of weights for 6 years and these are still going strong. I filled mine with play sand back then and have left them filled. I've never had any trouble with a canopy moving since having these, and that is in Kansas wind! Sometimes have been able to share one with another vendor at a nearby booth who has not brought proper weights. Having the handle on top makes them easy to move, and the velcro strap secures it quickly and easily to the canopy leg. Recommend.

Sturdy...Lasted 4 years of constant use outdoors
I used these weighted bags for four years non-stop outside in direct sunlight for half the day. I used these bags year-round in Ohio through rain, snow and heat. These bags are very nice and will probably last long if only used outdoors once in a while. The bags feel sturdy and attach well to our canopy with the velcro strap. The handle on top of the bag makes them easy to carry multiple at a time. We filled plastic 2-liter bottles with sand and put one bottle of sand in each compartment of the bags. There are two compartments per bag, so we used two 2-liter bottles per bag. The 2-liter bottle fits perfectly snuggle in each bag compartment. This idea was clutch because when the bag ripped on top we were still able to use it because the sand was still secure and waterproof in the 2-liter bottle. The weighed bags helped keep our canopy from blowing away in a wind storm with 60 mph winds that ripped our canopy cover off (see picture).

Split seam after one use.
Update: After initial review, I have raised this from two stars to 3 because the company sent me a whole new set of these. After a show in October, if they hold up well and I don't have immediate split seams after one use again, then I will adjust my review to reflect that I simply received a weirdly defective product on the first round.I used these for the first time on the first weekend of November last year (2017). It was for a weekend long arts and crafts show. That show was very close to our home, so they were not moved far. After that, they were stored in our garage with sand still in them (not 100% full, but fairly full). They were not moved from that spot until May of this year (2018). As we were packing them up to use for a one day show the weekend of Mother's day, we noticed the bottom seam of one of them was split open in one place, and sand was leaking out. Did not have time to do anything about it, so we loaded it up. We were still able to use it, and position it in such a way that once it was set up, the sand stayed put. We added more sand to it, and it worked alright, just a bit messy at the bottom. I find this is not appropriate quality. These should be durable enough to use over and over again for multiple events for multiple years. Haven't contacted their customer service about it yet, so if they send a new one or something, and I just had a defective product, I will update my review. Otherwise, they are easy to manage and use, and have a nice professional look. If they quality wasn't a problem, I would rate these higher.
