I'll preface this by saying that my cat is a tenacious, determined, food motivated gremlin that used to be a stray. This cat pulls open cupboard doors, drags out bags of bread, once munched on a Satsuma, crawled into a communal waste bin, and once ate then vomited a piece of cling film that had once contained an egg mayo sandwich. So this is 3kg of pure hangry cat. (she's been checked over and tested on, don't worry just a remnant of her previous life)So this timed cat feeder was easy to set, ran to time, easy to fill and replace and initially was going well. Until the cat started clawing at the top, kicking the sides and dragging the feeder across the room. Each time she managed either to pry the lid off, or offset the turning table so it flat out didn't work.I think this would work well with a normal cat. Just not my cat. Also would be nice to have some sort of noise/recording when the door turns as an alert/call the pet over.

I'm very pleased with this. We occasionally have to leave cat overnight and I was looking for something that could feed her for 24 hours, though this would do longer. You set the interval you want food dispensed and this was an easy process. I found the instructions clear and easy to follow. It also worked perfectly whilst we were away. Unlike some reviews, the cat didn't manage to get into it other than at the allocated times but I have to admit she isn't the brightest cat out there so this may not be a fair test. She wasn't nervous of it at all though, and used it immediately.Worth noting, as others have, that it's really 5 compartments as if you put food in no 1 it's open immediately and of course, the cat isn't going to wait to eat it (well ours instead, anyway!). But overall it was a good buy.

This timer feeder worked well for the first year. I do not go away much, so it was probably only used about 4 times, but all good. However, the last time I used it I got back to find the lid stuck between two bowls. I think the poor cat had been trying to get the biscuits out with his paws! When I checked the display did not light up,and when I put the batteries in the top just kept turning round and round without stopping so obviously no good. I would have expected it to last a bit longer for the price.

Went away for the bank holiday weekend and we have 2 cats. Instead of asking the neighbours (again) opted to give this a try. Bought 2 and they worked great. Easy to use and set up. Staggered the hours to there was food available throughout the weekend.Great product to cover those weekend trips.

I had previously purchased the cat mate. This one was quite a bit cheaper, but the sections are smaller, so cat is not comfortable putting his nose in, he uses his paw to scoop biscuits out. It's quieter than the cat mate when the lid rotates. Seems well made. No freezer pack sections, so not suitable for wet food. Timer less sophisticated, less options, but ok overall. I prefer the cat mate.

Very easy to use. 6 compartments, so if you are going on a short trip you don't have to worry about your furbaby going hungry or having anyone come in and feed them. The first compartment is uncovered so it's best to feed them, using this, at your usual time the day you go away (if you are able), you can then set the timer, as it's done in hours and not in time, we fed our cat at the usual time and set the timer to count down from 23 hours and 59 minutes (goes back to 00:00 and I wasn't sure if that would work).**Only down side** Because we were away 9 days we had a friend go in, clean and refill the food. We were told that the last compartment was mouldy, since we had a bit of a heatwave, I'm guessing that was the reason this happened and through no fault of the product.***FYI*** THIS PRODUCT IS NOT AIRTIGHT AND HAS APPROX 5MM GAP FOR AIR CIRCULATION ABOVE THE FOOD COMPARTMENTS. Also it DOES NOT state it is airtight in the description!

I was looking for a treat feeder for my 70 pound pitbull husky cross, to cheer her up while I’m at work 😉 This is a very simple design with six compartments. You program it to open up each compartment at a certain time interval (hours + minutes) The securely locked in lid will rotate counterclockwise at that interval, opening up the compartment for a hidden treat for your pet! My dog is not destructive so I don’t know how it might work for one that is super mischievous, but the lid seems to be secure. The compartment is about an inch and a half deep so it might be a challenge for a flat faced bulldog. It is AA battery operated, and has a digital indicator on the program screen. If you turn it off, it does not retain the time interval so you have to punch it in again. But it literally takes me less than 10 seconds to do so. Super simple design and a great price for what I was looking for. Most of the automatic treat feeders have a very small treat popping out and most don’t get good reviews. So this worked perfectly for us! I have had it for about a month now and no issues at all.

This was a gift for my son. Looks to be of good quality. He said it works well.

Lo he usado mucho cuando dejo a mi perrita en lapsos de 5 o 6 horas. Se programa el tiempo muy fácilmente pero como comentaba su programas que se abra el compartimento cada 4 horas pues ese tiempo ya no se mueve y es lo que a veces me ha costado adaptar, pero reduzco el tiempo y aprovecho para incluir en el plato “colasiones” para no dejarla esperando mucho tiempo su alimento primcipal

Ultracomodo, si possono programmare fino a 5 pasti.Questo weekend ero in Olanda e allora ho fatto che lasciare la ciotola col programma impostato ogni 8 ore. È andata benissimo, il mio gatto non ha fatto la fame!Inoltre è molto facile ed intuitiva da usare ed è molto semplice da smontare e lavare.La consiglio assolutamente!

Para nuestra familia ha sido una tranquilidad ya que a veces no estamos al mediodía en casa y así tenemos la tranquilidad de que siempre tiene comida a su hora. Es muy fácil de programar
