MALEDEN Refillable Spiral Daily Notepad Classic Embossed Travel Journal Diary

I bought this as a little outdoor journal for my daughter, and she LOVES it! The cover feels so nice — way higher quality than I expected for the price — and the whole journal has a really charming, special feel to it. I love that it’s refillable, so she can keep using it even after she fills it up. The A6 size is just right for her — big enough to write comfortably, but small enough to carry around easily. The little charms on the cover are a cute touch and make it feel extra special. You get a lot of pages for the cost, and the refill paper is really affordable too, which makes this a great long-term option. Overall, it’s a fantastic value for something so well-made. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy another one!

Objective: inexpensive log book. Definitely vegan. Preferably not unattractive. My husband and I very carefully plan our annual road trip for Record Store Day (yes, it's a real holiday), locating as many participating independent record stores as we can visit within the course of the day at which to buy our carefully-chosen records from the exclusive list. I needed to organize the names and addresses of the participating stores, write or type our shopping lists, and keep all these scraps together with our receipts for the duration of the travel. Since Record Store Day is our wedding anniversary, I keep all these slips of paper with our photo albums, etc.. I type our lists and am attempting to organize. The size and weight were great. It is attractive and lightweight. The binder rings do work (I'd worried!) despite the low price of the binder. The cover is not very thick and I didn't test its weight, but it didn't crack after being opened and closed a lot in a short period (as vinyl might have). We referred to the contents all day. We used the kraft paper it came with for notes (tolls, a notation to map out rest stops!, etc.). Our lists were on dot grid paper to ease referencing. We cut a sealed envelope across the top and punched the sides so that we could keep our receipts together. I also printed directions to each destination in case the GPS failed. There was a lot that I wanted to attempt to organize (not my best thing) in a small space. It worked. I carried it into the stores so that we could refer to our lists and make notes about the stores for next year. Because it's a binder, I can neatly remove the pages to keep forever in another binder, and carry this again next year.

NOTE: This journal does NOT come with lined paper! The lined paper pictured above was bought separately, but from the same company. — I bought this journal near the beginning of this year (2022) and it’s held up well. While I have not used it an immense amount, I have yet to find any durability faults at this time. It’s an incredibly cute and aesthetically pleasing (for me at least) looking journal with a very neutral design. As mentioned above, this journal did not come with lined paper, but with blank paper. This company, however offers packages of lined paper separately, as well as refill packages of the blank sheets. There’s nothing wrong with the blank sheets, I personally just swapped them out because I intended to use the journal for writing and I’m a very messy writer without guiding lines. I personally like the fact that you can swap out the paper as well as the binder clip style of it. It makes it easy to move around and swap out sheets as needed. The reason I haven’t used it a ton isn’t because of anything wrong with it, but because I bought as more of a side journal than a daily one, so I only write in it when I feel I need to. If I were to have any complaint, it’d be about the charms. Specifically, the anchor charm. While the helm charm is nice for keeping the binds wrapped around the journal, the anchor charm is always getting hooked and stuck on things. It’s more of a minor annoyance, but still an annoyance nonetheless. That being said, while I haven’t tried myself, the charms look like they could be easily removed if you wanted them to be. So, if the anchor is too much of an annoyance, it can more than likely be removed and potentially even replaced if desired. Overall, a nice little journal.

I got this as a birthday gift for my sister, she likes red so that's the one I purchased but they had a variety of pretty colors. I thought the red was nice and it's not really my favorite. I like that it's a deeper, softer red and not like fire truck red. Nice feeling for outer covering, likely pleather but looked quite good over-all and had a nice nostalgic effect. Really liked the tie portion and believe personal baubles could be added easily. Pages have weathered look which adds to the appearance but are sturdy Dimensions and page count were as described, note that this is smaller than your standard notebook but I feel journals like this aren't really supposed to be. I gave it to her for journaling, but it could be used as an address/date book if you don't mind writing things in. Would make a good sketch book. I may order one for myself because I think the old-style Polaroids would darling in it. Would purchase again. Binding seemed good but as it was a gift it didn't open it much. NOTE: The manufacturers have moved their logo name to the BACK of the journal, really the lamest feature of the book and would have received 5 stars if this were not imprinted into the felt book covering. Also had a barcode sticker on the back of the book which was a pain to fully remove w/out leaving sticky residue. If the charms are tied too tight they can dent the covering also, but over-all very cute addition to her birthday present!

I was not expecting this journal to be such a high quality product for the price. It feels amazing with thick material and a true vintage look. High praise from this customer for sure.

I am absolutely in love with this journal. I couldn't say enough good things about it like this could go on forever if I let it. I'll just give you the main factors that I like so much. First I love the letter that it's made out of its soft it's bendable it's just really really easy to work with open-and-shut I love the clasts that it has which it has the leather that wraps around in the one that goes down to the locket I love the compass on the front it is so perfectly stamped into the leather. But my favorite part of this whole thing is that it has paper that I can write on draw on it has A-6 ring binder so that I can rearrange papers if I need to. It also has the paper size given to me when I ordered it so that I can order more when I need more so I can keep using this rental forever. I would recommend this journal to anybody and everybody if they enjoy carrying the journal with them and just using it for everything and every day activities or thoughts or anything really sketches. I do tarot readings and I find that but writing down the readings and my interpretations and the outcome of the readings Etc I learn the deck better and becoming more familiar with myself and who I am with this deck of cards that I just got. This journal is perfect for that. It cost less than $9 with free shipping next day delivery you absolutely cannot beat that. It just offers you so much freedom. Because if you're in a hurry you can flip open I just write down what you need to really quick and later on you can go in and you can take that page out and put it where it needs to be. Or if you have like you know a section for tarot readings like I do and a section for journaling like I do and then a section four just regular grown up stuff such as phone messages or budgeting or just little reminders. You can take those pages and rearrange them and put them in order and help them make sense. And this paper is really perfect for pencil sketching then it's the perfect size to take with you anywhere you want to go. Like I said I can't say enough good things about this journal I was so happy when I came

I love this journal! Measuring 7"H x 5"W x 1"D, it's small enough to stuff into a backpack or a big pocket so that you can pull it out and write as the spirit moves you. The cover is PU leather (a combo of leather and polyurethane, which makes it lighter and easier to clean), and although not as tough as 100% leather, it's much less expensive and looks attractive. The pages are not plain white but a tannish color, a bit thicker than regular paper, and fun to write on. If you're looking for a big expensive travel journal with beautifully lined pages to carefully record your day's activities each night and impress your friends when you return home, this is not it. But if you want something where you can write about your adventures, note the name and address of that phenomenal pub in Dublin, scribble the contact info for the new friends you made in Belfast, and make a list of the foods you tried and absolutely loved, then give this journal a try.
