Yes, it should be. The kit is universal in that it is for using on laptops, tablets, and phones. I have fixed me own laptop and a couple of phones by watching YouTube videos and using these tools. It's not that hard if you're inclined to do it

Q: Is this repair kit good for the 2018 Mac Mini?

If I am not mistaken, you need a T2 screwdriver to open the Mac Mini. Make sure you look for a kit that includes this driver. It is very commonly used.

Q: Are these really carbon fiber as the description says?

As noted in the item description "Carbon Fiber Nylon Spudgers" are carbon fiber. Those are the pictured long black prying tools.
