Estwing hammer. None better. Nicely balanced, swings well. Good hickory handle, nice and thick will need to rasp down to suit preferred shape and grip. With proper care this hammer will last many years.

Great mallet - wish the handle was thinner
Sturdy and well-made. The handle is a bit too chunky, though - even for my large hands, so I held back a star.
