Could not keep it down

Unfortunately my new 3ds xlโs y button has stopped functioning the way it should. At the time I had assumed it was because my old pad has a cut on it and as a result the contact pad was not working correctly. After replacing the part the issue persists however I am one step closer to fixing my goal. To others with the same issue, it might be worth looking at replacing the contact pad board. I do not regret buying this product at all!

I can barely solder but managed to fix a broken b-button on my new 3ds xl.

I recently had issue with my 3DS "A" button not responding properly. I figured it might have been the silicone Rubber contact. I ordered these to replace it. After opening the 3DS and replacing it, I unfortunately found the issue still persisted. I may have to try and peel up the buttons on the board itself and see if there is anything beneath. That this didn't solve my issue isn't a slight against the product. It's just the issue must lie elsewhere. Should anything happen in the future I will at least have a spare set of these though.

I bought this product to fix my B button by replacing the rubber pad. However the rubber pads provided came partially torn. Fortunately they still work, and my B button is performing slightly better (I'm looking into other repairs. It may be a user error on my end, as I did cut open the package, but this is unlikely.
