having read all of Mr. Whyte's novels, I find this collection quite different, but am enjoying reading these short stories

Excellent short stories, but .....
The book itself was poorly manufactured: all of the pages were only partially slit. I had to cut each page to get to the next page, otherwise only every second page was revealed. Very disappointed!

Really enjoyed it
I have been an avid reader of Jack's work for several years, and really enjoyed this collection.Each story is accompanied by a personal forward, that gives you a real insight into Jack's life as a young man. It's like a step into history and gives an interesting perspective.
