I plugged it in my cig lighter, turned it on.. pooof.. nothing, i tried my other roof light plug in ,in the same socket..it worked..so i plugged the new light in, nothing..it seems like it burned out the first 2 seconds.. i tested my voltage and its 13.7v.. my other light works great in the same hole.. too bad.. (update... The vendor was great, i got a refund immediately, didnt even ask for me to send the unit back either. Turns out inside the plug in behind the switches theres a round wire guide/washer, its sharp as a razor on one side and it cut the wires inside. (Easy fix).. )

ok this light is rad. When I'm out in the back country I flip on the lights to get respect. Drunk rednecks give me room, and if idiots are riding quads too close ill turn them on and they always move on. Also a great way to signal friends when 4x4ing. lots of different modes that range from, "road work" to "I could be a cop"!. Be aware that truck roof metal is too thin for magnets and will blow off at highway speed. You could mount permanently to a headache bar I suppose.

When I got the FIRST light from the courier, the box was wide open, NO tape on the box anywhere, The light works but only on one strobe pattern,SO XPRITE QUICKLY SENT ME A NEW STROBE LIGHT, Thank you so muchlove this strobe light, the price is right, the top cover is clear making the light better looking, this light is BRIGHT, and easy to see day or night.THANK YOU XPRITE

Would of given this a 5/5 but it only lasted 2 months before 4/6 lights stopped working mostly only a few times working correctly again. The front and back lights stopped working effectively only a few times flickering like it used to very few times.I constantly had the lights on for work for long hours. For every time I was at a work area or move to a location to make a hook up point, blocking a lane, driving though the park and working next to the road (on the grass or between sidewalk and face of curb). Basically I would say 5-8 hrs a day for usually 5 days I had it on for.The brightness's range is awesome, I even bragged about it to my co-workers (whom don't use their works emergency beacon as much as I do).Water managed to get in during that time and one of the side lights broke off from its position (still works).I did very much enjoy using it for the first 2 months. But I have to go back to my given work emergency light instead (single beacon light). Cause during long hours only the side lights worked properly, and I don't feel safe using it anymore.Mainly bought it cause I felt that I don't get taken seriously by the driver behind me (I work in Brampton and in Toronto) when I turn on my work emergency beacon and hazard light 200m away from where I'm going to stop in the lane. The bloke behind me for 200.0m most times doesn't take a hint that I'm put this on for a reason and I'm going to stop on the road. As I start to slow down little by little until I stopped the bloke is still there. Using this product I immediately got a difference response when I turn this on and my hazard lights, drivers behind me already changing lanes. (That's what I like to see).Truly disappointed, really wanted it to last during winter so I can see how visible it would be in heavy snowfall.All in all for the first 2 months loved it.

small issue found light not working, it was the cigarette lighter i soldered it back togetherit was great up to 120-130 km/hri lost it at 160km hr on washboard, maybe attach to your vehicle with screws if youll go faster than 120km/hrwhen it broke all the lights still worked. i rebuilt it and it still works, durable electronics and lightsim buying the red one too
