They always come smaller than you expect. The measurements never tell you exactly how much space there is that's actually open to be filled, aka the volume, so be aware. I took some photos to give you a better idea of the measurements, and I put dried blueberries in the bag. Otherwise, the bags are secure, sturdy, and balanced, and the silver side can be easily written on in marker. I do wish I'd gotten a slightly bigger size, but at the time of my purchase, this was a good price for the size and amount in comparison to similar bags. If you have a small hand and a skinny wrist, it's fairly easy to reach into the bag to the bottom. But if you have an average man's hand and arm, you won't be able to get more than parts of fingers in there. It just doesn't open up too wide. Liquid would definitely stay put in these bags, and I would recommend them to others as small, secure, snack and herb bags.

Buyer beware the items that show a long delivery date are not the same product as before. I have purchased these over a yr length of time and what I received this order is extremely thin bags that are completely worthless literally cannot use them and they are by far heavy duty like before.I will try to include a picture of the previous one ( those I see pictures of here a d the ones I just received.Ok so in the video the one on the rite is much thicker and a fuller look to it..the one on the left is extremely thin and worthless literally I cannot use them for my clients nor would I suggest them for day to day use of anything stored long term as you can actually see light through it it’s that thin.I hope this helps tyUPDATE:: decided to give them another try with amazon prime because prior they were the ones that were fine but they r still not they same quality very disappointed

These bags are thick and durable. I love that they can stand up, and they are much stronger and better quality than ziploc bags.I use them for my granola business, and they look professional and sleek. They hold 6oz of granola easily. I could probably fit 8oz in there, but that’s not the size I sell, so I haven’t tried it.I love that they can be heat sealed. I don’t know what you’re supposed to use for that, but I just use my hair straightener on the lowest setting.

For whatever reason, Amazon was showing a message at the top of this product's page telling me that I had purchased these multiple times, so I went ahead and ordered them thinking that these were the same 5x8 bags that we usually order. I suppose this was some sort of technical problem linking this item to the others, because we never ordered these before and would not order these on purpose.They are paper thin, so they wrinkle as soon as you slide them open. For us, these things serve as retail product packaging, so having bags that are not presentable after being opened once is not acceptable. It's the exact opposite of our brand image. So basically, Amazon mislead me about the product I was buying and now I have to come out of pocket more money before receiving my refund that was only caused by deception and Amazon's increasingly common mess-ups.I won't even risk buying bags from Amazon again. I have to get them to fix something every time I order, and those orders don't always show up at the right house to begin with.

I’ve ordered these bags several times for my business and I have given a ++review in the past however, this last shipment the bags aren’t durable. The seals aren’t holding. I’ve thrown away over 20 bags so far and still packaging my cookies. Looked for an email to address directly with supplier but no luck soooo I’m leaving this review. I’ll order another since I’m now short on bags. I’m hoping this won’t happen again
