ARO F35121-400-VS Air Line Filter, 1/4" NPT - 150 psi Max Inlet

I was warned and I read the other reviews of high leak down rates. I bought anyway, as its Ingersoll Rand it looks to be decent quality and how bad could it be? But the leak down.. I soaped all connections and its the plastic twist on cap. I used silicone grease on the o ring even attempted to use slightly larger o ring. In doing that using a slightly larger o ring the cup won't go on. There needs a gasket on the top lip of the reservoir cup. So I will have to live with cycle on and off more frequently for my air brush compressor. Before this Ingersoll Rand filter install, my compressor would hold pressure for days. Now its pressure drops in 20 mins or so. If there is a work around I'd like to hear about it. Maybe if it Ingersoll Rand made this filter as a screw on cup with o ring it would be a better filter.

A year ago I purchased a Campbell Hausfeld airline cleaner. It was awful. It never worked properly. I decided to put 3 of these in-line for our warehouse pad printers. They work flawlessly. They are easy to empty and take up little space. The only draw back I find is the glass inside isn't very easy to see so it's tricky to see how full the reservoir is in low light. Besides that small set back they work perfectly.

So far so good.Simple air filter that collects a lot of moisture makings its way through my lines.With how much moisture these trap, I'd never use an air tool without one of these filters.Reason I bought it is because it was the cheapest one I found.Plastic housing is made well enough that I have no concerns.

Does what it says. Picked this one over the obviously same part without the Ingersoll Rand name on if just because I already had and IR pressure regulator. Just so you know you can reverse the logo on the body so it points the way your flow goes, simply pops off with a flat blade screwdriver.

Was leaking within a month. Thought I was buying a better quality because of price. Works no better than the cheap chineese ones I have.
