great product
This little machine is awesome! Easy to operate, quiet, and great to increase the comfort level in a smaller size room when the humidity and heat index are oppressive. I bought 2-and am thinking of getting a whole house unit of some sort. It holds a 2 cup capacity, and I tested the TDS (total dissolved solids) of the water with my Total Water pitcher meter and it was just over 100- that is better than my home unfiltered tap water! And, good news- it does not require any special filters to be changed. Love it. Customer service- one unit came and was not working properly after7-10 days and they sent a replacement ASAP. Highly recommend

ProBreeze Dehumidifier- 3rd years review.
Bought this when we moved into our new house and had this running for nearly 3 years 24/7 in a garage. The garage does not have ventilation and we store all of our camping gear in there (we did not want mildew to grow in our tent or sleeping bags). We live in the South-East and know it can get very humid during the summers, so this seamed like a good buy. It has been great. We entered the garage frequently enough to notice when it was full- emptying it was maybe once every week during the summer and maybe once every month during the winters. I do wish it had a larger container for water, the 16 oz container does the trick if you are not too worried about emptying it frequently. It was quiet for all the time that it ran and I often had to look at it to see whether or not the “Full” indicator light was on. I never had a leak. I think it finally gave out recently when we had a thunder storm- I didn’t have it on a surge protector. I came out to the garage and noticed it felt more humid and that’s when I tried to troubleshoot it but it would not turn on anymore. I definitely recommend for an easy-to-use dehumidifier for a small space.

All in all? Look elsewhere, even if you're on a budget.
Sure, at first it kinda did the trick. I primarily used it in a small bedroom, near a poorly insulated window that experienced constant condensation/mildew issues throughout the year. The hygrometer I'd place nearby would register somewhat of a dip in humidity readings (but nothing drastic). Quickly realized it'd be a pain in the neck to empty out. Tilting it any manner of ways means that water would spill out from what seemed like a half-dozen different holes, orifices, seams. But at least when it was in operation it didn't leak—for now (spoiler alert). Still, I wish the emptying process was more intuitive. I could never seem to drain it completely; there was always some water left in the tank no matter what direction I tilted it. However, after two months the unit suddenly wouldn't turn back on. I reached out to ProBreeze who promptly responded and, after exchanging visual confirmation about the issue, kindly offered to send me a replacement unit. Nifty, right? Well, fast forward another two months and then the replacement started leaking. Normally upon filling to capacity the unit would shut itself off and its light would turn yellow. Nope! On three occasions within about a two week span, the unit would overflow, leaving a puddle around its base. No yellow light, no automatic shut-off—just wet furniture and carpet. At that point I again reached out to ProBreeze, who did issue a full refund my way. (It should be noted they were quick to reply and very kind in their responses! Kudos to them!) Instead of tossing the unit I gave it to my roommate who placed it on their windowsill and would be extra diligent about emptying the tank (without waiting for any automatic shut-off). Five months later and the unit's now buzzing loudly whenever turned on. We've officially given up on this piece of junk. I know it's only $40, and I know the company gave me a refund. But now I have TWO of these hunks of useless plastic to dispose of. You get what you pay for. And apparently I paid to have negligible dehumidification that was, after a constant battle to control how or when the water stayed in the tank, ultimately only suitable to a very small, confined space. The thing didn't even last the calendar year until winter rolled around... when I need it most. Spend your money elsewhere.

Perfect for small rooms
WHY I BOUGHT IT: I live close to a lake, where humidity is often more than 90% and mold grows pretty fast. I decided it was time to deal with the issue: I removed all the mold (I used CLR PB-CMM-6 Mold and Mildew Stain Remover, 32 oz. Spray Bottle , which worked great for me) and then bought this mini dehumidifier to prevent it from coming back. I was looking for a small one, as I live in a small studio apartment. EFFECTIVENESS: It really works! I turn it on just in the evening and it removes around 2 ounces of water per day. Mold has not been an issue since I bought this dehumidifier. Obviously, this model is not very powerful, so it won't work for large rooms. FEATURES I LIKE: - Low price - Very quiet (you can hear it but you really need to pay attention to it) - Small size, which makes it portable and easy to hide - The device automatically stops when the water tank is full

the only dehumidifier for me
these dehumidifiers are so effective, quiet, and they last a long time. I bought several to keep around my 1 bedroom apartment in the summer and in the bathroom/closet year round. using them and then emptying them is a no nonsense operation. I tried another type of mini dehumidifier and it was very underwhelming and broke after a short time.

Works great
Love this. It removes the humidity quickly in my small bathroom. The size is good for me but it took time to adjust be a permanent fixture on my counter because of the outlet needed

but I expected it to be a little quieter and have an easy time filling up the tank
So I got this a few days ago. I always seem to have high Humidity. Looking right now it shows 62 degrees here at 71% Humidity. So It's been plugged in to my Bathroom. I also have it plugged into a "Kill A Watt" meter. So this is what I have currently as I just looked. It's using .26 Amps, 18 Watts. It's been plugged in and running for 74- 1/2 Hours and used 1.37 KWH. The tank is 3/4 full. So in just over 3 days, It has only filled the tank 3/4 full. Now the specs say "Removes up to 9 ounces of moisture/day with 16 ounce water tank capacity" (Keywords UP TO!!!) 2 days would be 18 ounces and would have overfilled the 16 once tank, and yet after just over 3 days it's only 3/4 full. So power wise, it's not a lot, but it's also not getting a whole lot of water. It's also not exactly quiet. It's in my Bathroom and yet I can hear the fan running in my Bedroom. So it's not exactly QUITE. It's not loud, but I expected it to be a little quieter and have an easy time filling up the tank. There is no filter to clean and only an On/Off switch. So really pretty basic. Jan 4th 2018 So I've dumped out the tank a couple times now. The funny thing is, I don't have to pull the drain plug on the top, I tip it over on it's side is it will drain right out through the seam where the top attaches to the bottom half. It's not really a problem. As it won't leak. It will shut off before filling up all the way to the point it would start leaking. It really makes it simple to drain out and get all the water out. So I don't have an issue with that at all. It's not fast. Like it said it takes a while to fill that tank up. I have it closer to my bed currently, so I have to turn it off at night to sleep. In the morning I turn it back on. I really don't think it's doing much to lower the humidity. It works, just not fast. A lot slower then I thought it would according to the specs. I should be seeing an overfilled tank ever 2 days as advertised. It's nowhere near that. They say quote "Removes up to 9 ounces of moisture/day with 16 ounce water tank capacity" 9 x 2 = 18. 18 is 2 higher than 16. Keyword, like your ISP, UP TO. I'm maybe seeing 2 ounces per day.

Hardest working member of our home
This is just about the hardest working member of our home. We have a very small bathroom and we were noticing spots where water was lingering and trying to mold. We purchased this and leave it on our vanity. We no longer have any lingering water or any places molding. It's pretty quiet, like a background hum, I believe it gets a bit louder the dirtier or dustier it is. It takes quiet a few uses to fill up the tank so we don't have to constantly empty it out. I don't go very far by way of cleaning it - I'll swipe a qtip along the vent to clear out the dust when I remember to, and I'll swish water around after dumping. I will say ours quit on us after about 2-2.5 years of use. But for $40 for something I use almost daily, I was happy to repurchase.

Male
Arrivato con nastro adesivo che teneva la scatola evidentemente già aperta e anche l'articolo dava l'impressione di essere stato quanto meno esposto o comunque disimballato

Good, but requires australian power adopter
Requires an Australian adaptor. Surprised that it does not come with the power connection compatible to Australian standards...??

Great dehumidifier for cold rooms!
I live on a boat and our back guestroom is rarely used (at least during the winter). It gets quite damp in there and in the adjacent wheelhouse, with condensation dripping down the windows and damp walls and bedding. I'd tried using a compressor dehumidifier but they don't really work well below about 18C, and they tend to stop working at all below about 15C. I decided to try this desiccant humidifier, and was delighted to find that it works beautifully! After a few hours on high the humidity had gone from 83 to 56%, and by the next morning the windows and walls were dry. I set it on low and it's stayed in the low 50% range in there, and the musty smell disappeared within a couple of days too. It worked so well that I started leaving the door to the wheelhouse open, and now it's nice and dry too! Very pleased with the unit so far, though I'm a bit concerned about how long it'll work for: it's a relatively new technology so may break down, and I'm also concerned about dust buildup in the desiccant wheel. I'll report back once I've had it for a year or so, but meanwhile very happy with it.

Simple, léger et efficace
Très contente de cet achat, prévu comme je le souhaitais pour servir dans une pièce sous les 20 degrés. Il n’est pas encombrant.et est facile à utiliser.
