Great quality &price. No need to worry about water leaks. The water pump works great, is strong, & very quiet/literally no sounds. Everything works great. I found the generic net pot + clone collar fits the Grower (outer diameter 1 13/16", inside diameter 1 1/4", height 1 3/8", bottom diameter 1 1/16"). If you are interested in hydroponic growing, I strongly recommend this. Don't spend money buying an expensive one.It took more than a week to really appreciate its quality and price. I got frustrated at first because after I assembled and filled the water that the plug is located at the bottom of the grower which I had a hard time plugging it in without disassembling and emptying the water. (My husband hole up high so I can plug it in.) Very caring seller and awesome!

The media could not be loaded. So far this has been super easy. I actually had almost ever seed planted germinate so I needed to start an overflow pot that will get transplanted again. I’ve only had trouble with spinach but it very well may be the seeds. Already recommended to a few friends who also live in the frozen tundra.

I was so excited about my new unit. It was super easy to assemble and the instructions were easy to follow.The unit looks well built, not cheap at all. I planted my seeds in provided pods and put the light and settings on the correct settings. Unit was up and running in 20 to 25 min flat. I could feel the pump working and see the lights were working perfectly. I loved that the lights and pump were on a timer, no hassle of remembering to turn on or turn off and the water level indicator let's you know when to add water of which it really didn't require a lot of refills frequently. But within 2 weeks I noticed green algae/slime growing on the top of the pods where I had planted my seeds, of which were rotten at this point. So I cleaned everything including the pump per the directions and brand new pods. Set it all back up effortlessly, to try again. Same exact thing happened approximately 2 weeks later. So I once again took it apart and cleaned everything. I ended up having to do this several times. So myy sister came to visit and look at it because she also has a hydroponic machine. She told me that my pump stopped working and that's why everything rotted. At this point my 30 day warranty was expired but I tried to reach out to the seller to see if I could at least get a pump replacement and I wasn't even considering for it to be free. I just wanted to make sure it was the right pump for the right unit. Well they never even responded. I have never given a bad review on anything that I have purchased online. I always give the seller an opportunity to respond, at least to give me a part number or even just a message back telling me my warranty was expired at bare minimum. So no I don't recommend this unit but mainly because the seller doesn't stand behind their own product obviously.

Timer needs to be done manually at times. Little warped on the top. I got heirloom lettuce & is growing well.

So far I'm very impressed started pac-choi seeds on Dec. 5th on day 3 I noticed that they had started sprouting now on day 27 I could harvest if I wanted to but I'm going to wait a few more days.

It is hard to tell where the maximum fill line is...the water level indicating bobber does not work.

I bought this for my grandsons 12 birthday and he loves it! He loves to grow vegetables and herbs and was disappointed the growing season was over. Now we will have fresh herbs all winter!

Great buy. Pictures show one month of growth. Already harvest lettuce twice. Would recommend.
