It is a plastic top, exactly like the large oblongroup folding version. Not laminated or completely smooth, but plastic with a slight roughness or texture.

Q: I need a tablecloth that will go to the floor. What size tablecloth would I need?

I think mine are 70 & 90 inch round tablecloths. The 70 doesn't quite cover the legs and the 90 pools a bit at the bottom. I think it depends on where you buy them too. The cheap ones are definitely smaller than more expensive ones I bought a long time ago.

Q: what is the height of this table?

I don't have it available to measure since it is on my boat but, I estimate it is about 26"

Q: what size table cloth would you use to touch the floor??

Unfortunately 70" round is too short so I purchased a 90" round and had to cut it off.
