Worked great
A good solver for my dog’s scratching problem! Real easy to install. I love that it comes precut and in individual slips. I haven’t removed it yet, so don’t know if it comes off as easy or clean as stated, but works to keep the door free of gouges from my 70lb dog. Worth it.

It's easy to apply and a great way to save your walls.
I bought this with the intention of applying it to our drywall with knockdown texture where we have our fur giant's bed in our living room and bedroom. The roll was plenty enough to do these two areas. Be warned that textured walls will be tricky but the film sticks nicely almost like cling wrap but with some adhesivness to it. The orange peel does affect the adhesion somewhat bit not enough where the film won't stay on. Your milage may very but if you have a none porous surface this will do. It comes with an applicator but I didn't get one unless the sturdy tub the roll is wrapped around also doubles as the applicator. If so, it works well, especially when using it like a crayon layed on its side, like when as kids you would etch a coin on paper.

I'm hopeful
It's up in the areas where my two dogs enjoy lounging and it's on the wall behind their food/water bowls. Overall, pretty easy to apply. It's not very friendly in the sense that if you don't get the edges even you can pull it up and redo it. I think doing that is going to compromise the adhesion. I will update in a couple of weeks to see if it's still on the wall. I have 100% faith it's going to be a breeze to clean but no point in it being a breeze to clean if it doesn't stay on the wall. I'm hopeful.

Apparently performs as described
This product should do what is described. It is relatively inexpensive. I see its value mostly to protect surfaces from damage, scratches, mars or stains, since many of the examples given can easily be cleaned with soapy water and a sponge/wash cloth. As a shelf liner, it is waterproof; but the removable shelf liner products work well also. I used it to cover where the dog has scratched the door and the door casing. It seems to stick well and is unobtrusive (but it is visible and apparent). In my included photos, I installed it prior to repainting the damage to see how this product will work. The dog doesn’t scratch continuously, so remains to be seen. I have not removed it, so not able to say if it leaves a residue. It would pull off loose paint. It may not stick to corners of molding, etc. Being slightly stiff, it wants to return to the original flat shape. One photo illustrates where a small piece came free from where I attempted to go around the door molding. Errors in the descriptions: (“Dimensions LxWxH = 118 x 15.75 x 0.1 inches”) It is not 0.1 inch thick, which would be about 1/8 inch thick. According to this web page. it apparently is 4 mil thick which would equal 4 thousandths (.004) of an inch not 0.1-inch thick. The packaging shows no thickness. It is plastic SHEETING. Contrary to that, the descriptions call it plastic foil, sticker tape, sticker screen, and/or sticker; it is none of those. It is slightly stiffer than trash bags. For example, heavy duty “contractor” bags are 4 mils but are flexible. It is durable enough for its intended use. This instruction on this web page does not make sense: “You can sprinkle the surface with soapy water, and with the help of the smoothing tool, press out the soapy water from under the foil.” Contrary to that, the surface to be covered must be clean and DRY. Why would you want to have soapy residue remaining under this sheeting? The moisture would not evaporate through the plastic sheeting.

Nearly ruined my cool Japanese wall art. TIPS for salvaging a boop - and doubling the width!
I could have been more careful - but you might want to test this on artwork because your adhesion (or the artwork surface) may vary. I had just cleaned and sprayed mine with poly - but the underlying adhesion was poor. I had to suffer with a giant bubble rather than lose the surface entirely as it was coming off. I ended up okay using a scissor to cut the bubble and plant it down. Will post pictures on the edit. As advertised - thicker, better, and worth the extra - though I would just as soon get the roll plain and save a buck. ALSO - for most uses - the smaller roll is easier to apply and you can double the width pretty easy and have it look the same as a jumbo size of cheaper stuff.

Will peeled your wall and doors
Terrible. It was easy to install but I had to remove it recently and it peeled all the paint in my walls and doors. For sure Im trying a different alternative in my new place

Perfect for walls
Exactly what I needed. I have textured walls and thought it wouldn’t work but it sticks really well. It’s thicker than plastic wrap for food which is what I hoped for. I appreciate that it came with the smoothing tool and a section of chalk paper.

Did not work for my needs
What i like: - seems to stick well - thick - seems easy to clean - seems to give good protection for surfaces and is Not easily pierced (so be careful if you are trying to pierce the big bubbles in order to push the air out). - has grid lines on the backing so it’s easier to cut in a straight line. What i dont like: - Adhesive is inconsistent/foggy , almost opaque in areas, making the surface look dirty. - not able to peel and reposition without making it look even worse. - not clear. It’s translucent. Honestly, if it was consistently foggy and didn’t have those white streaks then i would not have cared, but as you can see from the before and after pics, the surface i was applying it to was very clean and there were no weird smudges. The white smudges in the after pics are either from the adhesive, a million teeny bubbles, or both. They occurred before i tried to reposition. I was hoping to cover my stainless steel stove so that i would not have to clean AND polish it every time i cook. (I hate seeing oil splatter residue on appliances). And i honestly would not have cared that it wasn’t crystal clear as long as it was at least consistently “foggy.” When i peeled another piece it from the backing, i could also see particles and black flecks in the adhesive, which would have also made any surface look dirty since you cant pick the flecks out without leaving finger prints in the glue. i dont think the roll i received was of the best quality. It could have been a one-off issue, but i’m not going to buy another roll in order to find out. This would be great to cover a work surface for easy cleaning, as long as you dont care about the appearance.

Received only plastic roll
As described in product, there is NO chalk board and other accessory received. And there is no grid line on roll for cutting guide

Window silly saver!
Bought this awhile back to put on my window silly where my dogs like to sit. It has held up very well and has stopped the damage they were doing to the paint with their nails.
