Nothing important to know
I have to order most things twice because Amazon can never seem to get it right. Something seems to always be wrong. This is the rare moment I got what I ordered. 1/2" NPT fits the 35 watt 660gph Vivosun water pump. It screws on the bubble fountain above the water pump. Nice and compact for a shallow pond. I want to monitor the ORP levels thinking this item plus nano air stones/ air punps will benifit the oxygen pitential in the water.

I purchased a brewing system from Germany which I knew had threads that are not compatible with US fittings. After going through several adapters this is the one that finally worked to allow connection to NPT threads.

Tighten them a lot
I used these to install an IKEA shower valve. One of three had damaged treads. The others worked ok but you really have to tighten them all the way or they leak. Also bear in mind they add space to the joint in between the GPT item and the NPT connector.

Contains Lead, Do not use for potable water
Stay away from these - tested very high for lead. Too bad, threads mated great for what I needed but not safe, sent back and ordered stainless.

One leaked and one did not leak
Ordered 2 fittings. One of them I could not get it to stop leaking so I ordered a replacement and that worked fine !

El diametro interno es de 3/8, pero el diámetro externo es más grande, si buscas un adaptador para un grifo y la manguera es de 3/8, este adaptador no te va a funcionar
