None of these 3: 2 1/4 to 2 1/2" screw holes. Each is slightly different.

Do you think these can be held by very strong glue instead of the screws?

yes, these can held with the glue or tape

Could you hang hats on these?

The hooks are not very big so it would depend on the hat. One could, perhaps, put one ball cap per hook by hanging it from the back. I hang keys and a dog leash from mine.

are these strong enough to hold a lightweight coat?

Yes. They come with anchors for drywall installation and I hang light jackets. My only concern is the hooks hang on the anchor with stability similar to a picture frame. If I’m not careful I can pull the hook off the anchor (not the anchor out of the wall). They are very pretty and I would buy again and consider a dot of hot glue if this is an issue.

Did Not Disappoint

This was a risk for me, because I was worried it was going to look cheap or it would be poorly made.I’m so happy to report that this definitely feels genuine - I’m no expert, but the weight felt similar to my brass candlesticks. The screws that are included match the metal perfectly and blend in. I’m shocked at how high quality it seems for the price. It honestly looks like something I found at a vintage store somewhere! Love love love.

Elegant gold butterfly hooka

These butterfly hooks have exceed my expectation . I love the quality of these hooks . It came with all the necessary hardware including screws for the wall . The hooks feel a little heavy but honestly I think that is best if you plan to use these hooks to hang larger objects . They are very versatile ! We are using them for our nursery but these would be great in a mud room or bedroom closet . Great value for your money !
