Systane Hydration Lubricating Eye Drops, 0.34 fl oz

I’ve used these drops only twice so far, and I’m already getting good results. The lubrication feels strong and lasts longer compared to other eye drops I’ve tried. I was a bit concerned about the bottle because some reviews mentioned that it’s hard to squeeze out the drops. However, I didn’t have any issues. The blue tip makes it easy to see the drop forming, so you can position it properly and let it fall into your eye. Very simple to use. Just make sure to shake the bottle before using it, as mentioned in the directions. My routine now is to use the drops early in the morning and again in the afternoon whenever I need extra moisture. Trust me, it's good for dry eyes, especially people like me who spend a lot of time in front of the screen. I also like that this is preservative-free (PF), which is better for your eyes if you use drops frequently. So far, I’m very happy with this product as a new user, and I will definitely continue using it. Highly recommended.

I had chronic dry eye for about a year. The drops my doctor recommended eased it but I had to use them multiple times per day. These, I only needed twice, once in the morning and before I went to bed. After using them for a few months, I no longer needed them daily. I still used them occasionally, though. Now my eyes are getting bad again so I will definitely be using these! They are a serum consistency, so really coat your eyes & stays with you to soothe the irritation. The only things I don't like is the shape of the dropper; it's kind of difficult to tell where the drops are coming out when you're trying to put it in your eyes. Also, sometimes, towards the last of the bottle, the dropper gets clogged or gummed up because of the consistency & then the last of the drops are wasted. I'll be honest, if there is a lot left, I sterilize a needle to get it opened up. I don't like doing that, even though I sterilize, the needle because it's just not sanitary, but this stuff costs too much to waste very much of it. The quality of the eye drops is definitely worth the trouble & $. I highly recommend trying these for chronic dry eyes or just occasional use.

First, I don't know why people are complaining about the bottle. It's been easier to use that most other multi-use bottles. Maybe they've improved the design, but I've had bottles that I've had to basically fold to get the last drops out (BioTrue argh), this one is totally fine. Make sure you're letting the bottle reinflate after each use. I had LASIK eye sugery 2.5 months ago and I've tried several other preservative free drops: BioTrue, Optase, Refresh Relieva, Blink, Systane Complete. This is the best. Other ones would feel okay-good (some would sting?) while they were in my eye but soon after my eyes were back to feeling dry and scratchy. This one LASTS, and it actually seems to be repairing my eye if that makes sense. It's like it's giving my tears something it's missing that keeps my tear film strong. My eye doctor said before I was using these that my left was corrected to -0.5 and that was just it; she was wrong, my eye was dry, these eye drops helped immensely and now my left sees almost as good as my right (which needs no correction). Only con is it's a bit expensive.

Product is good. Dropper slightly more difficult to use without wasting some.

I love that they’re preservative-free, which feels gentler on my eyes, especially when I need to use them multiple times a day. The drops are soothing without being too thick or goopy, and they don’t leave that filmy blur some other brands do. Just a couple drops and my eyes feel refreshed and comfortable again. The bottle is easy to use and compact enough to carry in my bag. If you have sensitive or dry eyes, I’d definitely recommend giving these a try. It is a bit more expensive than some others, but for me, the comfort and relief are worth it.

I was using Refresh drops with preservatives, and those kind of stopped being effective after a month or so. I had refractive lens exchanges in both eyes earlier this year, and that can make your eyes drier than they were before the surgery for a number of months. And when your eyes are drier, your vision with the new lenses isn't as sharp as it should be. This Systane Hydration PF, however, works very well. Plus, don't be afraid of all the people who complain about the new dropper system. I had no trouble using it. Just follow the directions. You have to squeeze a little harder, but it dispenses the perfect size little drop. So nothing runs out of my eyes as happens with regular eyedrop bottle tips (which typically dispense 5 times the amount of liquid your eye can hold). Even though the drops seem expensive for a tiny bottle, I expect that each bottle should last a relatively long time.

Purchased at the recommendation of my eye doctor. The drops did the job and I did experience some dry eye relief. However, due to the design of the bottle dispenser, way too much product came out and I’d end up with a wet face. This wasn’t user error either. I’ve used plenty of eye drops due to having dry eyes for years and have never had this problem. I properly opened and used the drops per the instructions (even had my husband try) and no matter what I did, the bottle squeezed out way too much every single time. This resulted in probably half the drops going to waste(not an exaggeration). Such an unnecessary waste of product and money. Next time I’ll be ordering my doctor’s other eye drop suggestion thank you very much!
