The fashionforward and comfortable Vionic Yara with Orthaheel Technology will protect your foot from uneasy surfaces and give you a boost of energy with every step. The shoe also offers arch support and relives pressure points. Please note, this is a Fullfitting sandal. If you are a half size, order a size down. Because this sandal is NOT adjustable it is NOT ideal for narrow or lowvolume feet. Ideal for overpronators with a high arch andor high instep.

Comfortable and cuter than most flip-flops
I've owned these shoes in black patent for two years, so when I saw a pair in pewter here on Amazon I jumped at the chance to get them. The pewter is great for when you don't want to wear black. Regardless of the color, these are much cuter and more stylish than most flip-flops and the soles (arch support and cushioning) are great if you have problem feet (as I do).The black pair still look as good as new two years later and I've worn them a lot! I recently took them as my back-up pair of shoes to an all-day outdoor event on the lawn at the White House (SXSL) and I ended up wearing these most of the time because I couldn't handle wearing my Naot sandals (with a modest wedge heel) for more than a couple of hours. They were a life-saver!I have six pairs of Vionic sandals/flip-flops and this style is my favorite!

OMG now I love them and realized that I am not getting the ...
This is my second pair of Vionic by Orthaheel sandals. I waited to wear my first pair since they seemed uncomfortable. I kept watching QVC and the explanation provided about how your foot and body had to get use to walking correctly. I gave the first pair of sandals another chance and kept wearing them. OMG now I love them and realized that I am not getting the aches and pains I get with some shoes and sandals by other brands. I could not wait to get another pair and I am looking for my next pair. When you purchase a pair of shoes, sandals or slippers give them time for your feet and body to adjust to actually working correctly again and before you know it you too will desire another pair of Vionic by Orthaheel shoes etc. Happy walking!

no 2 orthaheel sandals are alike
I now own 4 pairs of Orthaheels. I am happy with only one pair. Not all Orthaheel shoes are created equal - to my great disappointment. This pair does not meet my expectations because 1) the sole part is almost half an inch too long (I normally wear an 8.5 but ordered an 8) and 2) the "ribbon" part of the thong that goes between your toes hurts. The one pair of Orthaheel shoes I love are also a similar style but the thong part is more of a rolled leather tube. I don't know why these shoes are SO inconsistent from style to style or even from one sandal to another. I would happily order, wear and praise these shoes forever if I could count on them to fit the same way from style to style. I am still searching for another pair that fits well because they are magic on my plantar's fasciitis and I am worried that if my one pair finally wears out from daily use I will be in pain again.

Not true to size
I had my feet measured by my chiropractor who made my orthodic inserts. My feet measured a 7 and a 7-1/2. After reading reviews that indicated these sandals ran large, I ordered a size 6 which is smaller than my true foot size. They still seemed a little large for me, but I took them to my chiropractor and she thought the arch support hit in the right place. I have now wore them for a little over a month, and they have become very sloppy to walk in. I wish I had sent them back for a size 5 earlier, but the time for exchange has expired. They really are too wide and sloppy to wear out of the house. Initially I was excited to find stylish orthodic sandals. Because of the high price, I am not willing to replace them myself.

Look better than Fit Flops but not as comfy
I normally wear a 7.5 but based on the reviews bought a 7 and they fit perfectly. I am a die hard Fit Flop fan but decided to try these for a change. They fit my wide foot and are not as "clumpy" looking as Fit Flops. I've had them for a couple of weeks now and they're just beginning to feel comfy. The toe piece caused blisters on both feet. The arch support on my right foot was very uncomfortable to begin with and felt as if something was digging in every time I walked. With Fit Flops I have always just put them on and they've never given me any problem. So I like them - esthetically I think they look better, but I don't love them.

Vionic Compliments
LOVE these sandals!! Compliments galore! Love all Vionic sandles! I purchased them last summer and wore the heck out of them and they still look nice! I loved the first pair black patent leather so much I ordered a blue patent leather and I wish I could go back and order other colors (not available) cuz they have been the best I have ever worn to work and I stand on my feet all day at work so I change into other vionic sandals, as a hairstylist. I am a Vionic lady I own 8 pair and counting. I will not waver due to foot issues. Vionics have been my best! Looking for a pair of red closed toe in a warmer style for fall and winter next.

Expensive water shoes with a cute pop of color!
I initially ordered these off of QVC in 3 colors for 3x's as much but after receiving them and realizing they were just overstated water shoes I returned all 3 pair. When I saw them on Amazon for a lot less I decided to get one pair (ONLY one pair). They are cute, they run slightly small (or very true to size). I would have ordered a half size up but I wear an 11 and that was the largest size. I like to have a little more room. These could have been a little more sturdy, especially for the cost. I love the color & the style of the shoe but the shoe itself is just ok!

Looks great
I love the versatility of these sandals. They are the correct length for the size, and the metallic color can easily match everything. The arch and heel support is great like my other orthaheel sandals. The only complaint I have is that it is a bit tight over my instep, which pushes the sandal down the foot and can cause the toe post fabric to irritate my skin between the toes a bit. I'm confident this problem will go away as the elastic on the inside of the T strap adjusts to the size of my foot. Great sandals, can wear without breaking in.
