Yes, it works with all models of key fit 30 carriers.

How many of these do i need? Do i need this to use stroller? So i have one in car, one for stroller?

So since I didn't know your requirements,not sure how many you need. The Chico key fit car seat comes with base. Im a grandmother and bought a base for my car. When you use the stroller with the car seat, you don't need the base. The base stays in your vehicle. If you need extra bases, for other vehicles.then buy extra, but the bases alone are at least $80.00.

What expiration date do they have? i'll like to purchase one but i'm worried about the expiration date...
