Tastes great
Delicious little morsels. I eat them sometimes for breakfast. Very good. However, I am the only one in my family of four who will eat them. The rest of my family thinks the smell is too pungent.

First time eating durian.
I had read about durian fruit and have seen video of people eating it, so I saw these were available and bought a package so I could try it myself.Oh, the descriptions of how it smells don't really capture the aroma. I took a tip and ate some before I smelled it. It's soft and has a paste of mung bean and durian inside. The texture is awesome. The taste has a bit of raw onion and garlic. Other than that, it's very dessert-like.Then the smell... like leaking natural gas with rotten onion and garlic, combined with another smell, that's nasty, that I had never smelled before. So now I know what durian smells like. After eating one, I felt good like I had taken a vitamin I'd been deficient of and could feel it restoring my body. That smell hit me a few times after I'd eaten one. Seems like a person could never really learn to enjoy the smell, but just be able to tolerate it.Hours later, I felt like eating another one. I took in the aroma and ate it. It was better the second time.I will not throw these away, but keep them and eat them. Starting to feel like an old pro with the strong durian smell. I can see why some countries won't allow durian fruit to be consumed on public transportation. It is not for everyone. But if you really like durian, I think you will love these cakes.

Taste good, but one of the bags went moldy
Love the special smell and soft taste, but a little disappointed, one of the bags went moldy.

Delicious if you like Durian
I like this because it's small and around 2.5" diameter. Just the right enough to eat. The ones at the supermarket (same brand ) were too large and I didn't want to waste it. The only thing is the smaller size is more expensive than the large size one.

Not bad at all. Quite nice......
If you aren't used to durian or don't like durian then you might not like these. However this is my first time trying these and I enjoy durian so these were really quite nice. The inside is not soft and spongy cake. It's more like a dense mushy paste filling and the outside is like a flaky pastry. Very sweet and goes well with a cup of hot tea.

Delicious - IF YOU LIKE DURIAN
The product came quickly, and tasted great - if you like durian flavor, because it's DEFINITELY durian. If you do not know what durian is, or you've never had it before, be forewarned that durian is a fruit that smells odd to straight up bad, and has a very unique flavor. I personally like it a lot, as do millions of people in SE Asia, but I have family that hates it.I'm guessing a few of the negative reviews on here simply are not familiar with durian, and attribute the smell to it being rotten. If you know what durian tastes and smells like, you should be able to distinguish the two.Overall, if you like durian, this is a nice dessert! If you don't know what durian tastes like... Well, good luck.
