This book is a perfect exampe on self glorification. It is as hollow as the actor's performances in his films. Don't waste your money. Who called him a messiah in the first place? The premise itself is filled with ego and the ghostwritten book no better

When you set out to review a book what is the statement expected from you? Whether you find the book a good read or not? Okay.This one is a great read.One must read this.This is going to be my favourite book to gift to young people for quite some time.This is an inspiring story but over and above that, it is a contemporary and pragmatic inspiration.Even if you have turned cynic and skeptic,this man is going to restore your faith in goodness. Though I didn't buy this book for its literary value.That is secondary.I acquired this book to know about how did Mr Sood execute such complex,unwieldy,disproportionately big,scary exercises? I mean I knew I have lessons in the process,the plan and the implementation.The book is exactly what we thought it to be. A pure narration of what went inside his mind and heart,a clean description of all the sweating and slogging which was required for organising hopelessly cumbersome travels,all the true dedication which systematised and inducted hope in the monstrous despair. The story of a human heart and a rational mind,a will to do and strong physical state to put up with the enormity of sustained hard work. It was necessary that the book be written so that people know the real story of perseverance and grit. Mr Sood's story has been introduced in Andhra Pradesh schools curriculum on ethics.The book should be taught in management schools for authentic lessons in character-building,leadership and execution.And also on truth and reality. We came to know of this new Sonu Sood against the backdrop of happenings which shook most of us.Most of us cried.There were thousands of people on roads...walking.... because they had become jobless suddenly...Because they had nothing to feed their families.....Because they had no tomorrow......And there was no reason for them to have the audacity to hope that help would be forthcoming...And so they took the desperate decision to walk back home...there was no transport available. And here was this man, totally translating his kindness into action, converting his resources into outcomes.And deciding to send everyone to their homes. Most of us know about the rescue missions Mr Sood undertook.Anyone could legitimately get tired of the bureaucratic rigmaroles but that is also one of his many qualities where he is different from most of us. He doesn't resign. The most divine gift is the gift of hope and Mr Sood distributed plenty of it.Unbelievable,but as the cliche goes,true. We generally came to know about the rescue missions of sending 'strandees' to their homes-the Ghar Bhejo campaign.These travels were organised across India....On buses,trains and flights...and also from countries like Kyrgyzstan,Uzbekistan,Russia,Australia,Philippines.....To Philippines.....students...patients.....Ilaaj India...Pravasi Rojgar...And his journey continues.....And so do our prayers for Mr Sood's happiness and wellbeing. Empathy and compassion combined with fortitude and determination can achieve the impossible.He could have sat sending money and cursing the establishment.But he took matters in his hands and did much more than anybody could imagine. If he is not a messiah then who is? We all know that it could now turn out that the audience would not accept him as villain in cinemas.Let us see. It would be interesting to find out how real image influences the reel. I bought three copies of this book.....so far.One ,I had pre-ordered and wrote a review in anticipation.One copy signed by Mr Sood for gifting to a dear friend.And one more signed copy for myself. I had posted my preview on Mr Sood's FB page for two-three minutes.But I removed my post.Because I found that his visitor posts were full of pleas for succour.So,I decided not to clutter that pious space. I believe that certain books are not for review.They should be read without question.This is one of them.If Mr Sood thought to record his experience,we must benefit from it.

All these 2020, only positive i loved was you, Sonu Sir. The way you and your team started the work to help everyone during the Pandemic. You are now a icon and inspiration to get through. From the bottom of my heart, i want to thank you, for all your brave and kind initiative you started, "Covid-19 की खबर आते ही अपनों को अपने से दूर कर दिया, वहीं आपने बिछड़ो को मिलवाने अपने बच्चो को खुदसे दूर रखा।" My parents used to say, in there generation they were blessed with the greatest people like, Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Raj Kapoor, A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Sir, etc, but now, i too have a greatest who was on road in foot, when whole world locked themselves inside the door, this person was there to do anything to get everything that people needs. From airlifting to arranging bus, books, job opportunities, tractors, schools, you did everything. You are the greated example to avoid excuses of not doing anything. #iamnomessiah, the book which I read in the shortest span. Though most of the moments, initiatives, missions, etc mentioned in the book but I still read them, I had goosebumps manytimes while reading. I felt emotions and struggle you have gone through while those days. Your book, #iamnomessiah will be added to one of those book whom i keep always with which i don't share with anyone and also which teaches or inspires me in my life. You added a perfect ingredients in life, that made the life important than a necessity. You are good enough, You are incredible, You are (so) strong, You are (very) beautiful, You are intelligent, You are talented, You are capable of doing amazing things, You are an awesome human being, You have a beautiful smile, You have a big heart. Thank you for being a constant for those who needed you. Thank you for inspiring people of this generation to lead in difficult times.

Knowing Sonu Sood & his selfless acts of kindness I m 100% sure even the proceeds from this book will be used for a good cause & that alone is a good reason to buy this book !! This book is no theory of relativity it is an honest man pouring his heart out !! One man making us believe “it is possible”, learning how he relentlessly worked on the streets in lockdown while we sat in the comforts of our home . He doesn’t need to prove anything to anyone & the book is not about it , it’s a compilation of his work that made him a name to reckon with & for anyone who wants to know this beautiful family loving ,people loving human ,this book is for you !! This man lives in our hearts , it’s time he occupies space in our bookshelves’s too !!

Had a lot of expectations from this book to know how such complicated political and social challenges were met with but got a series of quotes from great people and self promotion. The coauthor who must have done the writing part didn't do a good job.

A true and honest work of real dedication motivation and inspiration. You are a real life Hero. Loved every bit of it and I am sure this book will motivate and inspire generations. Many thanks Sonu for changing my life as well. Blessings always.
