Review: The book is floppy. The Cover feels matt. Page and Print quality is also good. Just a little disappointed as the last page of the book was a little torn. Overall, a great purchase though. Review: This book is a hard-cover book with an unusual design on all sides of the cover. It has a nice face page followed by the Table of Contents which is well set up, followed by an Introduction which gives a good history of Robert Louis Stevenson. Although the book was originally written more for boys, several of my friends and I enjoyed the book in our pre-teen years. There is also a page of "Suggestions for Further Reading." The book is broken up into six areas each with three to seven parts. Pre-teens and teens may find the book interesting as it contains mystery and much adventure which takes place back in the days of large sailing ships and pirates. There is an APPENDIX A: 'MY FIRST BOOK" (1894) and APPENDIX B: TALES OF A TRAVELLER at the end of the book. Adults who like adventure stories might enjoy this book as well.

I love the Penguin Classics range of clothbound books. I bought Treasure Island as a birthday gift for my brother, and he adored it. He's never read it before, and he barely waited for cake to come out before getting stuck into it! The clothbound classics are just gorgeous gifts, and the cover on Treasure Island was beautiful. A fantastic classic tale, and a gorgeous edition that is well worth a place on any bookshelf.
