These are 1000x better than the cruddy cheapos we used to have. It is like night and day. Catches so much more garbage. Sink smells cleaner, and looks better too, wjich is good because now one half is perpetually used for cleaning baby bottles. Extremely sturdy, and fits perfectly. Should have bought them sooner. Happy my money isn't going to China and I got a quality european made product.

I should have used this sink drain strainer long time ago to avoid food particles penetrating through around the drain even using the cover that comes with it. Very satisfied because now I hardly use or I don’t have to use the garbage disposal unit to get rid of food particles clogging the drain. Saves water too for the drain clean up.

This is a quality product and exactly what I wanted. I wasn't sure if we needed the little grabby thing in the middle that some strainers have, and it turns out we don't -- the strainer pulls out easily. Since there are two, we can put one in the dishwasher every night and pop in the clean one. If I would change one thing, it is that the mesh is too small, and catches Every Little Speck. However, the nice thing is that the water swishes through easily, and it is much nicer than the rubber stopper thing that came with the drain. The package came with a weird plea for a good review, claiming to be an American single mother, when it is written in Chinglish and the product is made in China.

I ordered these to replace a plastic sink strainer that had started looking gruppy. The fit my sink perfectly, I don't know what size my drain is, I just blind bought these. My apartment was built in the 1980s, if that detail will help anyone. The were packaged secure my in a little box, which I appreciated, bc the Amazon envelopes are not the best. I'm very pleased, they work as expected and they were affordable

The ancient metal sink strainer that came with our sink kept catching junk in a way that was causing water to back up in the sink. Very frustrating. Went out and bought a new plastic one in the same style (with the knob on top and rubber gasket on the bottom) and had the same problem. Then I saw this set and decided to give it a shot. It's AWESOME. Catches everything bigger than coffee grinds but never ever stops up the sink! $3.99 for TWO of these wonderful little gadgets and I couldn't be happier!

Most grocery/variety stores sell a cheap screen for the sink. These units are "heavyweights" in terms of construction. Mesh is quality, pops in the dishwasher easy enough, and looks like it'll stand up to some punishment. I'd buy it again, BUT, you get a little "bribe slip" to essentially "buy" a better review for 5 stars. Sorry, that's unethical. You got a good product, let it stand on it's own merits. It's all about the ethics boss, the ethics. Product is well made, I just don't compromise myself for 5 bucks.

Easy to clean and remove. The strainer is flush in the drain and allows water to drain fast which is really what I wanted. Most of the food waste can be deposited in the trash by lightly hitting it on its side; smaller bits of food can be wiped out with a paper towel. It cleans well and It is easy to pull out with the basket handle.
