I purchased these lights because I needed some additional front lighting on my truck - a 2012 Chevy Avalanche. The reviews seemed positive and the price was certainly right! So, I ordered up a pair, and I am very glad I did. The overall construction seems very good. There are no loose screws or parts rattling around. The front “glass” is clear and without any distortion - I say “glass” because I am not sure if it is glass or plastic. Exposed hardware appears to be stainless steel, but a season of winter here in Canada, will confirm that pretty quickly! The wire ends to the lamp appear to be of superior quality, are about eight inches in length, and come pre- stripped. The exterior of the cable appears to be a thermoplastic of sorts - perhaps not the most flexible but certainly up to the job of powering these lamps! And how well do these lamps do in bad weather? I have not installed these units to date, but I have hooked them up to a 12 volt power supply. I am very pleased to report that beam pattern is very “smooth “. How can that be? Well, there are no hard shadows or steep falloff of the beam. It just supplies a bright, soft focus of light. Be aware, that you would not want to have to face these lights in traffic. That bright beam does not focus stray light. The beam pattern is best suited for off-road use only, and not in daily traffic. If need or want additional lighting, you can’t do much better than these lights. A very good buy! Purchased with my own money! Thanks!

I do not write reviews very often but when one is owed, I do. Install, all the necessary parts and pieces for the install were included though I would recommend staying away from the 3M style connectors and picking up some red butt connectors, shrink tubing and electrical tape. There are some good techniques out there but I would recommend taping the new wires to the old wires and pulling them out the back, this method pulls your new wires down the tubes as you pull out the old wires from the back. Quality, the lights are modern looking and have bright LEDs that match my trucks taillights very well and most importantly let other drivers know I am pulling a trailer. After 30+ boat launches, they have zero leaks. Customer Service, this is where I feel Nilight went above and beyond. I emailed them through their website to see if they would sell me just one taillight. Backstory, two years ago I blew a trailer tire and cracked the lens, not knowing how many dunks in the lake my silicon job would last I reached out to Nilight. To my complete surprise, they asked me what light and what my address was. I replied and told them this wasn't their fault and this was not a warranty claim. They replied and wished me a happy life. New light was installed and an extremely satisfied customer is now spreading the word, already sent a link to my dad so he can replace his boat trailer lights too. Thanks Nilight!
