Best Pet Dematting Comb Tool Great to Brush Medium and Long Hair Dogs and Cats

I have two long haired cats and this brush is awesome!

This comb is a very good for the money and my dog enjoys being brushed now

The comb works okay and does what it was designed to do, but I did have to take it apart and sharpen all the blades. Maybe I just have a hyper-sensitive dog, but the cutting blades would not separate the knots and cut the hair mats as it came out of the package. Once they were sharpened, it worked great. For any one who contemplates this, the blades are directional and you have to match up the single blades to the doubles, so they're even all the way along. Also, if you take it apart without looking at it first, there are two washers to start and two washers finish ... there should be no extra pieces when you're done.

This is the best tool to use on your long haired pets, especially those whose fur tends to mat.

Wow. Just wow.I have a cat with medium length fur. Even though it’s not long, it is extremely thick. He never learned as a kitten how to properly groom himself, so he never cleans himself. All that to say he has knots EVERYWHERE. I’ve tried to get them out with fine toothed combs, rubber combs, you name it. You can tell it can be painful for him to get his knots tugged at. I saw this and bought it on a whim, not expecting it to work any better than what I was using. After using this brush ONCE, I got half of his knots out. It’s very gentle and easy to use. The knots were just gliding away out of his fur. He finally seems to enjoy grooming again because it isn’t painful for him. Highly recommend!!

This is a great tool for getting out matted fur. Works great on my cat because she is too fat to clean herself.

Excellent product. I have a 3lb yorkie and he's a boys boy and his hair constantly mats up like I don't brush him. I literally brushed him right before we went to the vet and the first thing she recommended was I start brushing him. So I looked for products that would detangle him and they were expensive. I tried shampoos and conditioners and they made him smell nice and made his coat soft but nothing would get to his undercoat and remove the tangles. So I saw this product and I took a chance and it was so worth it. Now my baby doesn't like to be brushed he rather play but I got a ton of hair off him in areas I thought weren't that bad. In the bad areas it was a lil more challenging not because of the product but because my puppy didnt want to cooperate when I got to his stomach area, legs and bottom. With all that said I think this works great. I can see where it would clean up a bigger dog like a dream. My lil guy will just have to get used to it

I ordered a couple of different comb/brushes for my 3 cats and have discovered that it all depends on the length of the cat's fur. This comb/brush works great on my extremely long haired cat but really did not do anything at all for my short haired cat. I found the Furminator works best on my real short haired cat. I also have a cat with "regular' length hair and this works ok on her but I think the brushes work better on her. So 3 cats, 3 different combs/brushes. This does work extremely well on the long haired one. I am still working on her getting used to it and am hoping she will totally love it soon.
