WaterHawk Smart Shower Head: Eco Friendly Water Conservation Rain 6 Inch Shower Head with Real Time Water Usage/Temperature LED Display

This shower head is really great and solved several issues for us. My daughter with autism sometimes has trouble getting the temperature warm enough but not too hot and I was struggling to help just by feeling the temperature with my hand (the shower we have really is finicky that way) and that is why I bought this shower head for the visual temperature information (we have a busy household and to have enough hot water we cannot just turn down the hot water heater to almost vacation just to prevent getting the shower a bit too hot). But we also use a shower filter (see photo) and I didn't know if this was going to work on top of that. But it was no problem at all and installed easily without any tape and no leaking (I always try it without first just because it's more work). I tried it first and immediately I noticed the shower had a really perfect level of softness for what I like, and the information was really good as well and I know I used less water just knowing (I could tell it had good color settings for the temperature and was impressed that this is hydropowered as well). Then my husband tried it and I worried it would be too soft of a feel for him, but he liked it. Then the real test was our daughter trying it and she liked it and it was easy for her to just keep it in the green range. So thank you for solving a problem that has been bothering me for years and giving me an (almost) spa rain shower as a bonus! (This is quite large as far as shower heads go, and I was surprised when I first pulled it out of the amazon box, but then decided it was a great thing) The picture above kind of shows the large size. One of my other concerns was that the size might lead to getting more water in our ears (a big deal for our daughter) but in fact it was less of an issue than the Jonathan adjustable shower head that came with the water filter which was the best we could do until now. I know this is long, but I was hoping this would answer questions anyone might have. I'd say this is worth every penny I paid (I bought one, then immediately ordered another and plan to buy a back up - it's that good!) The only negatives I can even come up with was a tiny bit of a new smell when I opened it which went away in a couple minutes but I'm super picky so most will not notice that (and it's not frustration free packaging but not too hard to open even still and I had no doubt this was a new product). It arrived quickly and I wish I could have bought this many years sooner!

Awesome, money saving product. You can see the temperature and gallons of water used for each shower at a glance. It has been great for getting my family to realize the amount of water they are using in the shower and help us all cut back. It resets the number of gallons after each shower, but somehow amazingly it does not reset if you just turn off the water for a minute or two while you soap up, wash your hair, shave your legs, or whatever. I challenged my four kids to see how few gallons of water they can use and they now understand the economics of “navy showers“! Highly recommend this shower head.

So far so good, as far as construction, seems to be made well. Everything works well, and the LED screen works without issue. Love the fact that the color of the ring changes color based on temperature, so I can look real quick and if I see blue, I know the water is still too cold to get in...lol. It seems to hold the numbers after you turn the water off for a little bit. But if you wait too long, it will erase. I was able to turn the water off and get out of the shower because I needed soap. Walk to the closet, get soap, walk back to the shower and turn the water back on and it started the numbers right where I left off. I'm guessing it stores it for about a minute?? My only complaint is due to the LCD screen in the middle, you don't have any water shooting in the center. So you have water spraying on the perimeter but about a 4 inch gap in the center where no water sprays. Makes it annoying when trying to rinse you hands or face. Would be an easy fix by just angling the center most nozzles inward a bit.

I love this shower head. It is such a great way to learn what your favorite temp is, and to save water. I learned the ideal amount of time I spend in the shower and how I can conserve water and get out without feeling guilty that I wasted water. It's a great motivator to keep an eye on how much water is being used. Especially for teenagers that want to stay in the shower for an hour. Now, they can see how much water is being wasted when they are being slow. LOL.

I bought this on a whim because I like gadgets in general and my showerhead was getting old. I could not be more pleased. It was dead simple to install (Don't forget teflon tape!) and works right out of the box with no extra effort. The water flow is no different than my previous shower head of a similar style and size from Mohen. It turns on right at the beginning of the shower and stops immediately when the water is off. If you start it back up again within a few minutes it picks up where it left off on the usage counter. After a longer time it fully resets. For the price this could quite possibly be the best value on a product I have purchased here.

I purchased this to replace a rain shower head that was killing my water bill. This is fantastic it doesn't use a ton of water definitely water-saving while still giving the rain experience and knowing how many gallons and the temperature of water is an added bonus the only issue I have is that I wish the display would stay lit up a little longer because as soon as you turn the water off you lose all information there's no way to go back and get it

Here’s the problem: my shower has a glass block window so it’s fairly light in the shower my shower also generates steam and I just got this was very excited and I looked up and I can barely read the numbers and my son who wears glasses is not going to be very interested because he’s going to be squinting a lot because he can barely read the numbers so my question is is there anyway to make the numbers much brighter so we can read them. Otherwise it’s a lovely shower but it’s completely defeating the purpose if we’re not reading the numbers were not caring about the amount of water Which is really critical here in Southern California where I’m really trying to cut back if we are going to try not to be the next Cape Town South Africa what is the city of 4 million about to run out of water. There must be a way to make the numbers darker because even without any steam it’s very difficult to read unless it’s very dark in the shower. If anybody can help me make sense of that I would greatly appreciate it. I’m very interested to know if anybody else had the same problem.

The quality seems good but not great. But I have seen much much worse products. I would have liked to see more brass. That said, three kids are using it for the past three months with no problem. My son takes looooong showers. It has cut down on water usage because it is low flow but also helps him keep track of the washer usage. Time will tell how long it will last.
