My child LOVES Pete The Cat! We enjoy the "I Can Read" series. It's a very easy read for my 3 year old son. He takes his books everywhere and loves the fun wording and story lines. Pete has SUCH a great uplifting personality. Some children's books have questionable characters for the main character with bad attitudes and unregulated emotions. NOT PETE! adorable little story
My daughter absolutely loves Pete the Cat. She loved this book and is easy enough for beginner readers to read alone, she loved the story and the characters and illustrations are just adorable. I'm so glad that she has a favorite book character to keep her interested in reading. She read this alone and then read this to her younger sister right away, she even did a book report on this book as part of her homework.
