ReebokMen's Nano Cross Training Shoes

Good multiple purpose workout shoe for plyometrics, agility, and working out.
This review is for the grit model which is a more durable upper fabric construction than regular nano X1’s but just as comfortable and breathable. I have wide feet so I sized up half size and these fit snug like a comfortable sock but with perfect support and stability for me. The grit weave on the uppers is breathable but secure so the tightness isn’t an issue but I think on more normal feet there will be room in the toes for splay when lifting or vigorous movement. They hardly needed any break in to fit just right (accept for the aggressive heel lock (but that is very useful for burpees and push-ups to keep the shoe from potentially slipping off, just wear socks that cover your heals over and you will be fine). I get great stability support, balance, and cushioning for doing BeachBody P90x, P90x3, Insanity, T25, and Body Beast workouts. I definitely recommend this model for those types of workouts over the nano X9 or X models. As the previous models are more suited for heavier lifting, not so much for jumping around or quicker movements. This shoe is snug but still gives my toes good room. I would say that for wider feet the shoes are good but if they were any less wide I would be falling over, it’s right at the cusp of being too small. The previous models were a little bit wider which was nice but for me, they are doing what I need them to do. They are great for HIIT type workouts but I still prefer the Nano 9’s for heavier lifting activities as the sole seems more conducive for that.Pros: comfortable for wider feet, good toe room, sole is stable and has good cushioning for a trainer.Good for plyometrics, agility, burpees, lighter weight lifting, lunges, and stability workouts. It’s more universal for all different types of exercises over the previous CrossFit endorsed models of the X9’s and X’s due to the soles having a little more spring in them.Cons: heel lock is going to cause blisters unless you wear longer socks until they break in, tongue is very thin, laces are longer than needed without a real place to store them besides shoving them down the sides of the shoes. Not for heavy heavy leg day in the gym as the soles are a bit squishy under heavy weights (only noticeable if you had the previous models). I’m sure it will be fine for most but I still use the nano 9’s for leg day PR’s or heavier weights. Also, these shoes aren’t true running shoes, only for shorter distances. They are 100% better than the X9’s and X’s which are hard to run in longer than a couple hundred yards but that’s not really what they were meant for. This is due to the shoe style trying to fit in all workout types but with lifting the sole is less springy and more solid for stability. All in all, I recommend these for people looking for a universal exercise trainer shoe. It is really hard to find wider trainer shoes for exercise currently so if you’re like me and searching, these are worth a try.

Still the best option for longtime CrossFit nano wearers
I’ve been doing CrossFit for over 10 years now. I remember when Reebok came into the picture and trying basically each evolution of the Nanos. I remember loving the 6s and I would still probably wear those if they made them. The new X1s are better for me at this stage in my journey. They do have more cushion than the nanos, which is better on my aging knees when it comes to double unders and running even though it goes against the old primal/barefoot ethos.I looked into the other major competitors and with the shape of my foot (it gets wide towards the toes) the nanos still have the nicest, most comfortable fit. This is a comfortable shoe and works well for when the feet have to perform both statically and dynamically. I’m not normally big on writing reviews but I wish there was this review when I was trying to decide whether to stick with the Nanos post-CrossFit-affiliation or move on to one of the newer cross-training partners. You’re still safe with the reeboks and if you’re an aging crossfiter and/or the reeboks wide toe box has been a deciding factor to this point, then these are definitely a good option.

Performed beyond expectation!
I love my Nano 7 and Nano 9 versions. I think the flex weave is the way to go for serious workouts. I did not have to break it in which was great. Used it for an outdoor HIIT workout that included sprints, forward/backward/lateral resistance band moves, burpee/broad jumps, sand bell runs to name a few. And it performed beyond my expectations. The grip was great, so was the fit. Did I mention no break-in period? Got lots of compliments on the colorways. Didn't think it was too cushiony like some reviews I've seen. I do think it has more cushion than the Nano 7 but felt the same for me with the Nano 9s. The only thing I did not like was how the tongue on the right shoe kept slipping to the side and did not stay in place like I want it to. Not sure why I did not have that issue with my left shoe. I may have to tweak how I tie my shoelaces maybe? But overall I definitely recommend this shoe hands down!

Fantastic Shoes
I got these due to needing new workout shoes ASAP. They turned out being a lot better than expected. They're incredibly comfortable, great for jumping, and the grip is great as well.Only thing is order half a size smaller than you should. Im normally 11.5 and I ordered these at 11.5 and they're just a bit too big. Not an issue for me but just a tip for you.

Still my favorite brand, fits slightly different than nano 9
I have had nano 9’s for just over a year now and it was time to upgrade. I only use my shoes for CrossFit so they last a while and I rarely get them wet. My favorite feature was the wide tie box. I don’t have huge feet but having that much space up front fest the most comfortable to me. I upgraded to the new X1s and the width is the same on the bottom, the ONLY difference I can feel is that the space on top of my foot is taller (more space?) than the nano 9’s. The 9’s hug the top of your foot perfectly and the X1’s leave a little too much space for my liking. When you tighten the laces you can feel the individual cross cross points on your foot and it’s just enough to be irritating.I’ve been using these about a week now and they are feeling good, but when I go back to the nano 9’s I feel the most comfortable.

Comfort
This shoe is comfortable. I bought them to wear while working - lifting heavy boxes and jumping in and out of trailers - but they are cool to just wear casually!

If your an OG crossfitter since the first Nano's came out, You will LOVE these!!!!
Just like the first Nano's to ever come out, Reebok did an amazing job with this model. The fit is perfect to my foot, no discomfort from the sole or toe area. I like to tie my shoes a bit tight so they did hurt a bit when I was working out in them but this also happened with the first Nano's I purchased the pain went away after a few uses of the shoes. All in all, Amazing shoe, amazing quality and I will be buying more pairs because this is the best fitness shoes around quite honestly. My last Nano's have lasted me over 10 years so I dont expect these to be any different
