Going to use in potpourri I'll be making for Christmas. Came fast, in perfect condition. No problems encountered.

I ordered 2 packets of myrrh and 1 of benzoin powder from the same seller. They arrived packaged together. I'm glad I ordered only two types of incense powder at a time (and one of those being two packets of the same type) because the packets are totally unmarked. Also, the myrrh has the look and consistency of brown sugar. Not sure what the quality will be. I'm concerned about using it in my homemade incense mix because the recipe is expensive to create, using 11 different ingredients, 8 being pricey powdered plant derivatives like these. Plus, the mixture has to cure 6 weeks after I combine the items. I don't want to ruin a batch because I tried to save a little money on ingredients.I will add to this and the myrrh review after I've compared the myrrh and benzoin to the last of my more expensive myrrh and benzoin and decide what to do. I plan to test both on a hot charcoal for comparison.Edit: they smelled nearly identical

Great price!
Amazing smell! I can't quite put my finger on it, but sort of like vanilla.

Benzoin arrived on time and worked well in my soap--only one concern
My Benzoin powder arrived on time and worked well in my soap--a few lumps to crush out and if you want a pure white soap, be aware this powder will give it some specs and color--looks a little antiqued, I do like that look in the soap so I don't mind. The Benzoin is labeled not for consumption (in eating I assume) because it might contain some lead. I am glad they are honest. Would like to know how much lead there is and is it safe in soap? Will the skin let any into the body? This might be a problem with most Benzoin gum or is it just the source this Benzoin came from? Is Benzoin a resin from trees or other plants and are the trees uptaking the lead? I would like to know some more about this.
